Hi,
I have sent my PP on 24th aug to Canadian Immigration office New delhi. but its over a month now but still no updates.
CAS is showing In Progress and the same message "Application started processing on 9th Aug 2010".
Is this the normal time?
How much time will it take.

Hi guys!

My daughter finally received her Canadian citizen certificate!! It took her like 5 months!!!

Now I can submit both documents (the FBI certificate n her proof of Canadian citizen) that Detroit office asked for my PR.

More wait for me but at least it's moving along finally!!!!

Nerts! upon E-case update night, nothing. I did send a nice email to Bufalo asking how things were going. Sure to get a standard response back; but just being able to take some action on my case feels good....well "better"..hahahhahah. :

I wonder even for us "buffalo" applicants (well for me ex-buffalo) there is such a huge difference in processing time!? I know why I have not gotten PPR but for the others who didn't need to send additional documents n certificates..why is that you know.

good idea as i received my AOR dated 16 September 2010. The embassy has my file sine August 10, 2010.

So, I got a reply from buffalo this A.M. They are fast. However, as I suspected, it was the generic bounce back response stating that my file was, "In Process" and that they could not give information about when it would be complete. Well, I kinda knew that of course. But it did feel good making some contact, even if it was digital...and maybe "someone," a human being actually set some eyes on my case for just and instant. yes? yes....

Im reading in some cases that medical histories are being dug through with a fine tooth comb? Is this true? I see one case where a person had counseling as a teen in their distant past that came up in a background check, and then the IMM office requrested a psyc eval? are you kidding me? (head spins). What does any of this kind of stuff matter? This is like barbaric. Maybe people are just making this stuff up. Im starting to wonder. really! I mean, who has the money for all this!?
