Ok I have updated

As I was going through the 5 pages of posts I was thinking..wow August already.. I have officially been going through this Quest for PR for just over 2 months!!

Thank you very much indeed! You are a star. I've just printed off what I hope is my last bit of info ready to post off to Sydney today.

Has anyone else decided what to do with their waiting time? I reckon I'll have practiced so much yoga I'll be in the double lotus position by the time this is over

Now I really want to cry ...most of june applicants got their e-cas status updated to "In Process". I am still waiting for any update and scared too why are they taking so much time to send AOR.

We started processing XXXXXXXXXXXXX application on August 4, 2010.
I take it that means Pretoria started looking at our documents.

Lyn can you tell me how my husband can log in as the sponsored person? which client ID should he? or is he supposed to get his own letter first from Pretoria before loggin in?

I logged in as the sponsored person using the Immigration File number which was on an email from my outland office (I emailed them). The number starts with B and is also referred to as the B-file number. Maybe you don't have that yet.

Congrats I am still waiting for a further update on my application..but have nothing as yet! I also emailed my Outland Visa office and received my B-File number..although I already had a Client Id number Prior to applying for PR!

Don't worry..its most likely to be as simple as Islamabad is swamped with applications and slow on creating files right now..I have noticed application processing times are 8 months!

im from morocco,and my wife is from newfoundland,she sent our application to mississauga on 12th june and it got received on 18th june,,,
we are still waiting,and there is still nothing,,,,
anybody has received an answer yet from MCIC,,,,????
please i would like to know if anybody has heard any good news yet?

Oh..CPC is now on Apps for 2nd July!! Can your wife log onto E-CAS? She can do this through CIC website and use her receipt number and details..date of birth, name etc..Perhaps it takes a bit for the letter to get to Newfoundland..CIC uses regular Canada post..looks like its may take upto 8 days for your wife to get her letter from Ontario..

Ok I just checked..if your wife Cant log into E-CAS and doesnt get a letter by the end of next week perhaps call CIC..Looks like you are in the time frame for Sponsorship applications..its average 42 days..that would mean July 30th.. then add 8 days or so for Canada post (Almost 2 weeks as we only count week days!) PLUS...There was a Civic Holiday in Ontario on Monday 2nd of August!! So add a few more days with that delay!! : So dont worry I am sure everything is fine and you will get an update on E-CAS Tuesday if you havent already!
