Just now i called CiC Call center and talked to a live agent. she confirmed me that my file was transferred to New Delhi on July 13 and i will be receiving a letter this friday or early next week. Also, when you talk to an agent be ready with client ID, sponsor date of birth, address, telephone number as well as principal applicant name.

Since I am an Immigrant, I could locate the Client ID on Confirmation of Permanent residence (COPR) document. or else you if you have receipt number (IMM 5401) just loginto the Ecas with the receipt number by providing sponsor last name, date of birth, country of birth etc. If you can login, that means your payment has been cleared and that they are working on your file. same thing happened to me, till last friday i logged into ecas with receipt number, it says that it doesnot identify me. But when i logged this monday, i could loginto the ecas but it was showing my previous application details as i am a recently landed immigrant and that my client ID was same for both previous application and the current sponsorship application. so finally when i receive the applicaiton from mississauga i could loginto ecas with new immigration file number mentioned on it to check the current status of my sponsorship application.

I have received the brown letter from CIC Mississauga today. But it only specifies my Client ID and Kit ID # and is posted from Mississaga on July 13.

It specifies that " We are pleased to advise that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly the undertaking and Application for permanent residence have been forwarded to visa office in NEW DELHI for further processing"

Thats the sponsors ID and Kit number..You will get another letter from New Delhi informing the applicants Client Id, who the Immigration Officer is thats processing the Application and any additional documents that they need and a bunch of bar codes for you to send additional documents if any are requested..you have to wait until E-CAS shows 'In Process" then I am guessing a week or 2?

So sirini_72 you mean to say that you will getting your AOR for principal applicant on this friday in India...thats awesome..it means that we can also expect to get AOR soon

I have an update from E-CAS.. "We started processing your application on July 15, 2010." This means I should receive my letter from London England by Friday I hope..if not by Wednesday next week..I guess it depends when it was sent!

it tooke me 6 months to get visa

CIC updated processing times. They are now working on apps received through june 18.

I am praying for good news. My app was rcvd on June7th.

Just because it says 18th June doesnt mean ones received upto 26th have not been opened..I would say any day now..Good luck on the sponsorship!!

Eep! That's it, I'm going to have to move into my local starbux until we hear something - only copious amounts of coffee can get me through! It's tough being a non-smoker and non-drinker at a time like this

now my head is aching 'cause i can't stop stressing :-\ . I'm having all kind of thoughts going through my head ... my application was received on the 16th, so this means i will be waiting another two or three weeks before i get the envelop?
