approval envelope has a special shape and includes a $5 cheque to get yourself a moose drool brown ale with this special ocassion ;D

My App was sent june 4th and recd at CPC-M on June 7th. I am still having issues writing dates in the dd /mm/yy format.

The envelopes from Immigratio are always Brown with a window in the front and Have Immigration stamped on the front!!

Hey guys I am able to logon e-cas ...its says decision has been made and they had already sent a letter on july 8, 2010.

So head up I will be getting letter today or tommorow. Btw Loverly and Charlene.09; you guys have the same date as mine, may be you would also be able to log on. Good luck guys

hey britincanada .. congrats .. btw can u explain me wat is VR ?? is tht some visa kind of thing which anybody can apply?? Would be great if u share this info ...

A VR is a Visitors Record..it can be applied for when you wish to extend your stay in Canada..

Anybody can apply..Its the only way for me to keep a valid status in Canada as I am not eligible for a Work Visa

My letter approving my sponsorship finally arrived yesterday. Now it's time to settle in for the even longer wait at CHC-London for the PR to be approved. Here's hoping that it will take only the minimum two months, or even less! I'm so tired of feeling like my life is 'on hold' waiting for this process to be over with.

Congrats Loverly..you will have a 3 -4 week wait to see your status on E-CAS to show as "In Process"!! Seems to be longer than many other visa offices!! : Glad you have got over the 1st hurdle though!

OMG! immigration has not updated the inland application status ??? they're still processing up to june 3 :'(

I have noticed that too..there was a period of about 3 weeks in May when CIC did not update!!
