congrats Srini! What kind of ID# did you provide for them to tell your application status? Receipt #??

It is going to be 4week next week..I am getting anxious!

You have to bear in mind it takes 6 weeks to process your fees...plus I dont think they are much past 10th June applications

when i called cic call center today, it was already 4 pm (calgary Time). so i could not talk to an agent. But i could get the status from automated phone service. i had to choose option 2 (to know the status of application) and again option 2 (type of application requested - sponsorship). Then it will ask for your client Id and your date of birth. once I provided the details, the automatic phone service informed me that my application was received at mississauga on june 9 and that "sponsor undertaking forwarded to the visa office near the relative" (New Delhi) on july 13.

My app was rcvd on 7th of June. I hope to hear something soon.

nice! I would like to try that but I don't have a client ID yet. Does it work with the receipt number?

a small clarification .. wat is the client id u mentioned above and hw did u received tht ?? it will be helpful for us too to check our appln status ....

Hi everyone!!

I would like to join this thread...I sent my application on June 29th and was received on June 30th at Mississauga office. My visa office will be Mexico City.

I initially joined July´s thread because I thought that having applied so close to Canada day´s long weekend it will be received in July but there it was received in June 30th.
Anyways, would like to keep track of how everyone in June is doing.

I have not heard anything yet... trying not to worry and keep praying. I paid my fees May 19th. It should have been processed already.
I called the CIC last night like Sirni did instead all I get is a confirmation that APP was rcvd on the 7th of June.

Still praying to hear something today.

My husband called the CIC and this nice guy told him that they have not opened my application yet but to call next week to see if they have.
