Hi Mirkopal,
We are also in Rome and my spouse's application was also opened March 25th. Sponsorship was approved Dec 9 so our packages probably arrived at the same time. I am assuming backlog is to blame. I sure hope we are in "priority Class" too
The best thing for us is to sit, wait and enjoy the summer. We updated once (via e-mail) but that was it.
Now it is a LONG WAIT!

Please see my timeline in my signature... it has been 5 months since they opened my file, and Thursday morning we finally received a letter! Its not over yet but my sponsor was approved yay! First stage down! Now I just have to get Quebec to approve us too..

landed today in Woodstock even simpler than it sounds no questions asked other than if the address they had for my pr card was correct

How long will it take to hear about my CSQ? It was received 10th June 2010. They say it will take around 20 working days but it was Saint Jean Baptiste and now Canada day. I hope I hear soon Im so sick of waiting! It seems everyone else's applications from December are so much faster

I think they are taking at least a full 30 days right now. Mine was received around May 19th and I didn't hear back from them until a month later to say that I missed one check mark....two weeks after sending it back I still haven't heard anything...

I actually got mine in the mail today! If you haven't gotten something back in a few more weeks you can call 514-864-9191 and see what the problem is. But for right now, you are not behind schedule.
