I am still very suspicious about the whole thing though. How can they possibly be done with my application already? There is nothing on ecas about "medicals received" or "decission made". Maybe they are requesting my passport earlier in the process?
I will keep you posted.

don´t want to be pesimist but i heard of a guy that was ask the passport and he received it back 2 months later...

i really wish you is the stamping request just be ready for anything that could happen... this process is kind of tricky and it seems there are not stndars times or alike hystories
 
immigration is trying to kill me, it says decision made but has nothing on if he was approved to sponsor or not...

although they let me over the boarder on Saturday if they had denied it they would have said no? right?

Berlin received my passport last Friday and today (Wednesday) it is already back here in Canada.
What an amazing timeline! I am still under shock.

There were no updates on ecas during the whole time. It still says nothing but "in process since January 11". So don't relay too much on that system -- in our case it was the mailman who became my best friend. ;)

The only thing I have heard so far is my dad (my sponsor) received a letter to say the application is now in process. We are applying through Quebec though, so apparantly I cant view the status online, and I dont know if it takes longer. Hope its as fast as yours corofino, congratulations :)
 
Hello Everyone

My husband, who is Canadian PR and is in Quebec, Canada since September, 2009, has applied for my PR. I got approval from CIC and MICC (Quebec Immigration) within few days and we sent our application to CIC Buffalo in November, 2009 (can not see November thread and October and September have far less responses). But my application is almost stuck in CIC Buffalo from last three months. They keep missing my documents such as medical records and MICC approval. We are Indian citizens but I live and work in US. I have submitted everything in the very beginning including my police clearance from both countries, medical record etc.. I have been writing emails for follow up with them from last one month and sometimes they respond me- ' Your email has been forwarded to processing team.'

Now I have got a good job offer, but it is in Alberta. So should I tell CIC Buffalo about this job offer to fasten the process? My worry is whether they will consider the job offer as 'Dual Intent'. Though most likely they should not, since MICC approval letter itself says start looking for job in Quebec(!). Also, does this matter that the job is in Alberta and my application has been filed for Quebec? Will telling that to CIC Buffalo will further confuse them and will slow down the application processing.

I also want to join this thread, though CPC-M received my application on November 30th 2009.

I'm sponsoring my 19-year-old daughter in Sweden. Sponsorship application approved on December 18. MICC approved on January 11th. January 18th in Process in London office. Now - waiting.

It seems to me that Berlin office is very efficient.
