Thread for applications sent December 2009!!!

I've seen a lot of people on here mention dates that visa offices are processing applications (for example, processing up to Jan 11th, or something like that). How do I check that? Is it on the office-specific website?

In other news...stillllllllll waiting! Blah! Anyone have some good news out there??
 
sent mine on the 18 and they received it on the 22nd they are processing aplications received until the 23 right now. Check back next Tuesday, I belive that is when they update the info as to until what day they are processing the application.

this is to know which applications they are processing based on the date they received it.
 
thats only if you've applied in land
 
yes you have to use that one cause Missasagua is in Canda.. but they process the outland applications....

the first part is dealt with in Canada even if you are applying outland, mississauga more precisely.
 
Got the sponsorship approval letter today. So happy! And now the real waiting begins...

Not Yet.. I am just waiting to see my e-cas status ' In Process". Hopefully by this week end they should do something. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I did have two questions to ask

1. I received a letter saying that my file was received and decision made on Jan 05, 2010 and will be sent to Rabat. However, my wife has not received any letter to date indicating that our application is in Rabat and it's been over 20 days. I guess I am wondering how much longer I should wait before I should be really concerned. Secondly, is there any other way of confirming that Rabat has our application?

2. I will be heading down to my home away from home in a weeks time to be with my wife and I was going to take with me copies of communications and other documents that I have compiled since submitting my application. My intent is to hand this over to the embassy there to add to my application. Will they let me do this or do I need to have a more pressing need to enter Embassy grounds than these documents. On a side note - I always figured that as a Canadian Citizen - I would have an easier time accessing my embassy but such is not the case

Anyhow, any info on the above two would be greatly appreciated.

I can't believe it. I am holding the passport request in my hand!!!!! After only two weeks! :D

i try Corofino but my processing times says from 10 to 17 months and my husband isin Canada because of work, so sometimes is difficult, but i will follow your advice
 
Congrats Corofino... I don't believe I am reading this news.. I never heard having passport request in 2 week. Great News.
