I dont know how to get in touch with MP
i live in toronto my wife is in india hyderabad.

I live in Toronto - Scarborough.
It is simple to contact your MP, here is the link..enter your postal code and you will see all the info of your MP

Email them about your case and someone from the MP's office will call you and let you know how to proceed.
It is a very simple process and they always are willing to help when THERE IS A DELAY like in your case.

my wife did not receive any PPR yet,sent 2 CSE still no reply.
please pray..
they update 3 weeks ago medical has been received and we started processing on june 23. still no PPR.
WAT CAN I DO.

@ Fprince: My Aunt and cousin arrived on April 20, 2011 and they got their PR cards a week ago. I think they just have a massive number of cards to process hence the delay.

Did you try calling CIC? They usually are able to tell you if there is any reason behind the delay. I got mine after six months, the first two months, I was waiting until I was notified in the middle of the third month (when I called) that my photograph (passpot size)was incorrect so I had to wait for a letter from CIC instructing me to go to their Toronto office to submit my correct photographs.

Fprince is right, you should contact your MP! Inshallah you will get the visa soon!

It is easier to wait for the PR card, but not everyone can wait that long

totally agree...i guess immigration piece requires lots of patience

Just curious, anyone who landed in May,June - Have you got your PR card yet?
Would be curious to know if they are back to speed...

it looks like they are still slow...i talked to a lawyer and he said that the process status is same as it was before...

Gagan - In his case it has taken more than 3 months and i guess so did Nylalisa's hubby..
looks like they still have a backlog in processing the PR Card..
so its gonna be hard if we can get it before 3 months but i will hope for the best.
I need it soon so i can go to the great indian high commision here to get a new PP.
