Hello gwalyat, sophiaman, thecoolguysam !

Due to the maintenance in the Automated Correspondence in the Global Case Management System, the information on CIC is not up to date, before Tuesday it will be resolved and you can login and see the status through your spouse UCI, Self Client ID, Application Number or Receipt number, so there will be no variation or difference.

This is for your information please.

Kindly note from hence forth on July 18th onwards the CIC/CHC will send or response in regard of your status to the e-mail address which is mentioned on your application form.

In the case where no e-mail is provided or is incorrect, a paper letter will be issued by mail to the client or representative.

Just they starting implementing and to follow up this system it will take time.

Nothing to worry who are in this forum, we will receive in post only.

Just awareness.

Hello Coolguysam !

I agree that this is applicable for the freshers PR applications with effect from July 18th onwards including the application format has also been changed a little bit.

Correspondence from the CIC/CHC will switch from manual, paper-based correspondence to automatically-generated e-mails which is created in GCMS on or after July 18, 2011.

Nothing to think about in this regards where as its clearly mentioned in the bulletin that if email gets failed than it will be manually be intimated to the individual concerned, now its based on the CHC Delhi VOs how they are going to switch to GCMS or sent intimation by emails / by post.

Kind Advice regularily check the email id which was mentioned in the application form and more over before deleting spam folder its better to cross check.

I have given mail to confirm on the GCMS procedures to GCMS-SMGC@cic.gc.ca., once I hold response from the office I will let you know with details.

Atlast I would like to say that we will receive correspondence in regular post only and at the same time there are chances to receive via email too.

Regards and best wishes

Hello Sophiaman !

Your representative entered as a mailing address. Most of the time, representatives enter their own address so they get all the mail from CHC. So the PPR has been sent to your lawyer.

He has forwarded you the covering letter and later you dispatched the passport from here na ! Did your lawyer has mentioned to CHC in the covering letter to sent the passport/visa and documents after finalizing to the client like that ? Confirm.

When ever you sent anything by Indian registered post or speed post to Canada, it reaches nearly after 25 to 30 days to the receiver.

Have u confirmed from the lawyer regarding your passport ? Who will receive !

Regards

He just emailed me PPR letter with an attachment. I printed that and send along with my PP to Immigration services.
I am not sure about that whether the lawyer have confirmed my address.
I need to talk to him on MONDAY.
Thanks maan. But Is it not by default that ND will send PP to the client in INdia irrespective of the mailing address.
Please can you educate me more.
Thank you so much

This is not the right way he has sent you PPR via email and you have forwarded the passport to CHC.

I agree that we can forward the passport with PPR but when your having a representative his moral duty to make a proper covering letter with reference to the PPR, well you have already forwarded so there is nothing to discuss in this regards.

Kindly discuss with him on Monday and confirm accordingly , as per The Ministry of External Affairs has taken a strong notice regarding the passport/visa that passport shouldn't sent to overseas without authorize letter.

CHC New Delhi sents the final documents/passport with visa stamped to the Indian address only but I wish to say you that your representative should have mentioned in the covering letter elaborately as you have paid him your hard earned money.

Don't worry, Its a formal discussion only. You will receive your passport at Indian address only. Just relax.

Regards and wishes.
