Well, my wife got her passport back with a shiny new visa on it. It was dated the 11th of July. So glad this is finally over.
And congrats vik on your ecas update!!!

Also Manny, They send the PPR by mail.

yes i did. It was 8th august 2011 and my old passport with travel history was delivered on 20th June. Still no update

i think u did not go through the last statement i wrote:
check it again:

I am in the same situation. Please check your letter again

They must be asking for your old passport and travel history.
Please check if they are asking for your old passport or not.
If they are not asking for the old passport and asking for the same new passport then simply fill the "Delhi supplimentary information form with the travel history and attach an application stating that you had already sent the passport on such and such date.


In my case I did not send the old pp because i was not able to find it thus i got a letter within few days asking for old PP with its specific number and travel history (i.e. Delhi supplimentary information form) which i sent the next day

faliure to submit within time limit could result in refusal of your aplication.."""
thats all wat is writen on the application...

I understand your concern maan. Does it says anything like " we started processing XXX application for permanent residence on XX date."
or NO.

yeh brin is right .....but brin these day specially in this month we have sen with all cases after they started working on application ecase changed to decision made with in 3-5days

Not necessarily status will change to Decision made after 5 days if ECAS shows in process and medical results have been received. We have so many members who's status said 'In Process' for a very long time .eg: Fprince / DNT

It could very well be an over lap like nylalisa said..we did have a few people who got a second PPR while they've already submitted the passport. If u've done everything right ( sent all ur passports with a copy of ur PPR) u need not worry..but def send them a copy of the confirmation u hv.

Ecas can change anytime....!!!! the trend has been..Tuesdays and Saturdays....but there have been many people who had staus change on other days as well.

yes dear u r right..it means dey take diferent times for doferent aplications ...anyways good luck 2 everyone..
n on safe side i send dem ...delivery report..2nd PPR ...so i want to courier dem which courier agency is trusted one...or i send dem through speed post..dis time m worried..

yeh man wish u n every1 good luck but i m talking abt those whose documents were complete bcause thisis wht i have notice frm those people who got decision made for instance jimiya2me's case she got decison made from application received but it was written tht they started processing the file on 29 JUNE N she got decision made at site on 2JULY same happen with almost every1 who got decision made this month........

Yes I'm having to so much fun in India.. india is the best... and if time / job permits I suggest everyone waiting for ND to approve you.. the best remedies for the waiting pain is .. stay together and have lots of aham aham..

it helps you to forget about ND..

i'm going through pages 726 to 756 and gathering all the update... on a SLOW connection damm it sucks!

I'm glad to see some sort of movement on your application, I know you;ve been waiting for very long, I hope you see something good soon, also don't forget youare nearing 6 months since submission, so they must be stamping your passport very soon...

yo yo yo yo Today i checked my status of Per. Resident for my Wife & it said "Medical Result have been recieved" so does that mean decision made & she will be recieving her passport with a STAMP oooh hoo I wanna head to the beer store & get waisted cant get drunk after she arrives here LOL .

it always said Appliciation for Permanent Resident recieved on Feb 14/2011 & all off a sudden today it said medicals results have been recieved. Her passport was requested back in March 4,2011 & she send it to them the same day. So please help anyone.

sponsorship approval: jan 7th 2011
file transferred to Delhi: jan 17th 2011
ppr recd : jan 27th
passport sent: march 7th
passport recd by ND: march 10th 2011.

After tht no communication from ND.
My ecas status now shows: application recd on 17th jan, started processing on Feb 17th.
In th month of feb, ecas showed: medicals recd!!

Finally my lawyer in Canada got PPR on July 7 It was generated on June 13.
How can I submit the PP in person to CIC ND. Can anyone help me with that.
