Finally I am done. My husband recieved his visa yesterday in India!! And it changed to decision made when I checked few mins ago!!
I am soo happpy and excited to see him. Thank you everyone on this forum for the input and keeping everyones hopes alive.
We are trying to find a ticket for this thursday for ND or Amritsar straight to YVR ...any suggestionss?

Last I seen him was in december. And I filed my app on Jan.27 because of mail issues and it getting sent back to me 1 month went down. ND recieved my file on April.11- had a interview on June.21- Decision made July.1

Hi fellows!!

I just went on the cic web and check my status, it shows DECISION MADE.
I was sucked!! I have been waiting for this moment for months and finally we made.

Here is the description appears on my ecase:

We received XXX's application for permanent residence on May 18, 2011.
We started processing XXX's application on June 29, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on XXX's application. The office will contact XXX concerning this decision.

I believe there will be a lot of good news coming in this or next week. Good Luck Everyone!!

Anyone know how long do I except to receive the passport? I cannot wait to book the ticket and fly to Toronto!!

I am sorry to hear that but next time you try to contact them stress that file has been in Delhi for 7 Months and 6 days.
Hope you get your visa soon...

can u believe now what happened... they send a latter saying that "last remninder for CPC..." i have already send that 4 months back and they alaso sent email that they received it.. isnt that ridicoulous....

PPT comes soon after your file reaches ND. The earliest you would get your visa is within 2 1/2 to 3 mnths after the the file is transfrd.

The avg time we've seen on this forum is abt 4 mnth.

What!!! I would think it's better to go in person again with all the correspondence you have from ND and show what a crapy work they are doing!

thanks for the reply but i looked in the document checklist it says there identity and civil status document for that what can i sumbit instead of birth certificate cuz my husband doesnt have his birth certificate so lke what can we do? he has his marksheet though

I already told you, BC is NOT mandatory for a indian citizen as the PP has the DOB.
You are fine without sending the BC, send anything else which has the DOB.

what exactly was the reminder abt?

Dind't you do the interview 3 months ago? what exactly do they need now.

You need to get in touch with a MP, ND has screwed this up big time like Senshalu's case.

Did you get your PR card?

Anyone who landed recently? any delays and how many weeks it took ?

Would be helpful. Has just been 2 weeks for my wife and they said 6 weeks, now that the strike is over i guess they will be back to speed.
