Not sure how this will impact BC..no idea...so which address was the PPR delivered to? the address you did not state? that does not make sence

Which means you stated that address as the mailing address? i am not following you.

They wont send a PPR to the address on the PP, they will to the address you list in the forms.

Hello friends, I;m now with my wife, and it feels great to be with her.. and now we are ready to send our passport to New Delhi.

First of all Thanks to everyone for their good and well words... As you know it is very hard to use the internet from where I am, but anyways finally I got on, and still waiting for the Data Stick to activate.

Once that is done I will be a bit more active.

If I am missing anyone in the update please do message me in private, so I can easilly take care of it, as it is very hard to go through the forums one page by one page as the internet connection is very slow.... slower than dial up... reminds me of good old days...

So I hope everyone is doing well, and keeping well...

I have one important question, I will be sending the passport tomorrow morning, but I wanted to know if I should be pro-active and send them after marriage pictures + telephone logs of me calling my wife + my wife calling me and also the sms logs.

As you know they;ve only asked me to submit my valid passport.

Your opinion will be highly appreciated.

Well, from what little I know, I think thats a good idea, because a PPR request does not mean that they will issue the visa anyway, or does it? I heard that some Visa Offices ask for the passport first and then start working on the file. Maybe Im way off the mark but IMO you should sent the stuff anyway (and save up on FedEx charges too ;D)

@ DNT: I would just go with sending the Passport. I have worked for years with lawyers in the USA and they used to always discuss that one must only send what is required by IO's. What happens sometimes is that if we go overboard with things like sending additional documentation/proof that is not required as of that moment, it raises an alarm sort of.

But then again, the seniors in this forum might want to throw in their valuable suggestions as well=)

Finally I am done. My husband recieved his visa yesterday in India!! And it changed to decision made when I checked few mins ago!!
I am soo happpy and excited to see him. Thank you everyone on this forum for the input and keeping everyones hopes alive.
We are trying to find a ticket for this thursday for ND or Amritsar straight to YVR ...any suggestionss?

From my experience last year,if they ask for the passport send them only the passport.If you send anything else with the passport they will not even consider it and will only throw them in the garbage.

Send other supporting proof as well. We sent additional documents and you know how quickly my wife got a visa after that. I always like being proactive.

Hey Guys,

My wife's India address has disappeared from eCAS all a sudden, not sure if this is cuz of a software upgrade or anything. status is still showing "In Process".
I know this has happened to a few ppl in the past..not sure if it means anything?

@ Sam - I know ur status is also "In Process", does eCAS still shows ur India address?

Tired of waiting when I know it could take another month or so.....almost 10 weeks since ND got my wife's PP, maybe I should order CAIPS.

Deepiv - Congratulations for the Shinny Visa...I'm also from Vancouver and I dont think there is any direct flight to India from west coast, i'm sure there is a direct flight to TO and then from TO to Vancouver...you can try but i doubt you will find anything.
