Submitted twice without any luck.

WOW! i honestly don't know what to say. It sucks cause u can't call ND. All you get is an automated vm. I hope things work out for u. Are u sponsering your husband or wife? i'm sorry, i forgot. What was the issue? did they request additional documents? what else did the letter say? or did they just request pp?

I am sponsoring my wife. Everything went so fast and good till PPR. We got the PPR very quickly and Sent her passport on February. still waiting for the visa. They didn't ask for any additional documents or didn't even call for interview..just left us blank for more than four months after sending the passport.

That's soo weird!! my brother sponserd his wife at the same time as me, in march 9, 2011 and she's already here. Normally, they are very quick to process girls applications cause they don't doubt the girls as much as guys. That's why i asked you if you were sponsoring your husband or wife. Maybe ask your wife to visit new delhi with copy of PPR letter on saturday when they are open to public to see what's up. some times they'll have passport stamped and ready to be sent out but someone forgets to do it...they are so irresponsible.

Planning to do so:)

Yes SO I talked to my husband about the interview heres how it went
When the interview started the lady asked him if he could speak english, and to introduce himself.
-Formal introduction...like Name, Age, Wifes Name, Date of marriage. she just wanted to hear him speak english thats what he told me.
- He did the rest of the interview in Punjabi.
- Asked why the marriage rounds werent in the same city close to the palace? ( we went to a gurdwara that was 45 min away from the wedding palace that was located whhere my village was) she asked the name of the gurdwara aswell.

- Where does your wife work? what does she do?
Where does your Mother In Law work?
What does your Fatherinlaw do?
How many siblings does your spouse have?
what is there age? what grade are they in? what is there names?
Where did your spouse work before her current job?

Who was present at your wedding?
Was your father in law there? ( dad came week before wedding)
Where did you go for honeymoon?
Where did you go for outtings?
Who went with you?
what movies did you watch? ( we wrote we went to the theatre)
What places did you exactly go in jalandhar?

We had a picture of us hugging...she asked who took the picture?
and he told her his sisiter, and she said that cant be..he said we are very open and our relationship is open in our house.

she asked him my phone numbers?
and my email adress?
if he had a computer at his house?
he wrote me some poems in english..and emailed me. she asked who wrote these? and he told her he did..she had a doubt so she gave him a pen paper and told him to write one on the spot..he told her it takes time. she asked why the spelling was perrfct he said its called word spell check.
when did your spouse leave india?
how often do you two speak?
does your spouse go to college? why not?
what is your spouses future career plan?

She did phone me after interviewing him and asked me questions from my previous post...to clarify things she asked him

she told him she will approve the application, and they have to do some backround checks now. she kept 2 photos and gave the rest back.

and that was it.

he was confident, and he told her he loves me alot. I am so happy and glad and thank god everything went perfect.

congratulations deepiv!!

guys, plz tell me if anyone knows about this question:

they have a column in background declaration form that List the addresses where you have lived since your 18th bday. do not use po box addresses.

Do they physically check the addresses or they just keep it for records purpose only?

gagan...with the weather like this...u think he'll be bothered to take her out? ;)

You know guys, reading about all these spouses who have come here so quickly makes me feel positive about my husband getting the visa soon, but at the same time i'm scared that i might jinx it and it'll take him forever to come here. I heard two of my friend who sponsored their husbands, it took them 10 months! I know every case is different, but still..

Hi all,

in form IMM 0008 E (GENERIC), there is a section to enter "Details of Family" and in the end there is a space for photo of the family member.

Just wondering what are the specifications (size) of this photo?

Thx n rgds
