I can only conclude one thing in this thread., without exceptions i guess.
If the applicant has a lil kid, she has more chances of getting the visa superfast...i have seen a lot of applicants here with kids get it within 2-3 months.
Have yet to see someone who was delayed..if i recollect correctly.

So, FebPR to your list you can add " have a kid before you apply ! "...
these dumbones in ND have done nothing for the last 13 days

it is ture but the scenario is only if u married for couple of months and have a kid...reason being is that chc nd needs the medical and the pp for the kid as well...



if a couple is newly married and they have a baby while the case is still "in process" (i have seen some scenarios)....there file is delayed....because there is now a change in the application as well as in the forms....a dependant child has to be added in the application...and so in the new pp, the medicals, the fees etc....

yes..it is correct...u can make a bag from 23 kg to 32 kg...and pay $50 at Delhi Airpot....


if u want to carry another 23 kg bag...then u need to pay $150 at the airport...



one thing to keep in mind is (and i even verified this from Jet airways) that u will have to pay in canadian dollars at the airport...

Like fprince said...Jet isn't too strict...but ofcourse it can't be just too over loaded...

The last time I flew I had 29 kg...and a Rs. 500 worked instead of the $50..!

Once i flew from Toronto with 28.5kgs in One suitcase and i had to tell them when he said "FINE" was.." I am Indian , come on....i support you guys without taking my regular Air France "

I always say the ground staff that, i am from xyz company and we have a corporate account with ur airlince

Just forget about the discount part but try to accomodate my luggage, they will do the same with a sorry 'sir'....


They are not going to do a Background check of my profile or designation in the company..... ;D

Brin.. Jugaad... you don't know the meaning?

it means "Gambling" hindi word is Juwa.. Jugaad etc etc..

It could also mean "getting it done my way"

yes that is correct!
here it happened with couple of my friends that they received the passport and after receiving the passport the status changed from Application Received to Decision Made

agree....

most of the cases which i have seen from january 2011 and onwards...most of them are from "application received" to "decision made"...few of them are also "in process"...but the majory is from "application received" to "decision made"....
