@STUCK...
Like fprince said...Jet isn't too strict...but ofcourse it can't be just too over loaded...

The last time I flew I had 29 kg...and a Rs. 500 worked instead of the $50..! ;)

They let me in with a smile :P

Jet is a great airline. If the aircraft has some buffer, then why not give it to customer. The charge for the weight you take off from a airport is constant for the size of the plane and fuel is also constant for the length of journey & size of the aircraft. So if you give it to customer, that customer will tell the good services to one, two, three...Of course there has to be fine otherwise everybody will come to airport 28.5 kgs.. ::) ::) ::)

Was the letter specifying that you ahve to provide additional docs? or was it just something you might have forgotten? Please let us know.. and the date the letter was sent out... (usually from the TREND: the requests for add docs comes after 2 weeks from the date of PPR)

I am from Toronto, Canada. Sponsoring my hubby from India. Passport was requested as of May 11, 2011 and now additional documents requested in order for admission to Canada. We did add photos. After wedding photos as well. Do not know why Delhi asking again. I got my hubby to be prepared everything and resending as requested. I have a feeling that Delhi knows they are certain to issue Visa to my Hubby In India. Anyhow Keep you updated for more.

Thanks for Help :)

So true! I've seen the 2 weeks as well :)

The trend has been that if they need additional docs, the req comes apprx two weeks after the PPR. ECAS would not show any details abt PPR or Doc req.

I need motivation to be waiting.. its hurting me soo much.. I'll try.. but honestly its not working out...

New Delhi.. please do it now!!

In this thread the last batch of visa updates happened in the last week of May...2 weeks it has been so quiet

Possible... they take the longweekend.. PLUS some more time off for VACATION!, so they decide we don't want to work too hard after the vacation.. lets just give them VISAS!!! and some sort of happpy news for the appplicant and sponsor so they can enjoy the long weekend too...

could be a mere coincidence.. but lots of visas tend to be issued around long weekends
