I was thinking the same...there are three of us with interviews scheduled in the next 3 weeks...all of them on Tuesdays......makes me think it's probably the same VO who might be handling our cases?

You are right, all of them scheduled on Tuesday. All of you guys will do good.

Interviews are easier than waiting and waiting and waiting and.... I have seen people get a little bit worried by the word interview. But is it really a interview?? To me it is about knowing more about somebody. How different is it from meeting a new friend for a coffee and go over some points? It's going to be trouble for people doing MOC, but for genuine marriage cases, it's the way to go for quick VISA.

Agreed!!!! Much better than not knowing when u'll get the visa!
Infact any genuine couple should not worry abt the interview! and I'm sure VO can see the diff between a real marriage and a fake one!!....=> This is what my mind says....!
But my heart isn't corporating.....! Just can't help thinking what flaws the VO might be looking at!
I'm not sure it's becase women tend to worry too much...or just the case with everyone going for the interview!

Check in - 2 bags - not more than 23 kg or 50 lb

Carry on - 1 bag - not more than 7 kg
AND
you may carry one other bag such as laptop, camera bag etc.

I received ppr request on 11th may 2011 and passport was delivered to CHC ND on 21st May 2011 and till date it is still showing "Application Received" instead of "In Process" or "Decision Made".

PPR sent May 18 (PPR Rx June 6)
PP sent June 7 (PP Rx at CIC Delhi June 8 )
Status change on ECAS from 'application received' to 'in process' June 9

I believe you have received much feedback on this from me, cdngirl, febpr, gagan etc..and its the same answer every time you ask the same question.
You do not need a in process update..it can go directly from app received - decision made.

Yup!! ND will always some screw up some case.

I was deep shock when I read the post. All my prayers for sonyji to get the visa earlier than me. I mean you have taken the interview and still can't issue visa. It's sheer negligence. The background checks don't take time for non-international travel cases. The VO should think that it's a spouse PR not any category (Skilled worker or experience class) and the visa is issued for family union.

meateater leaves on sunday from hyderabad. We belong to the same city and we thought we could be of help to each other, so thats how I know he leaves on sunday

I can only conclude one thing in this thread., without exceptions i guess.
If the applicant has a lil kid, she has more chances of getting the visa superfast...i have seen a lot of applicants here with kids get it within 2-3 months.
Have yet to see someone who was delayed..if i recollect correctly.

So, FebPR to your list you can add " have a kid before you apply ! "...
these dumbones in ND have done nothing for the last 13 days

Also, if our check-In bag is between 23-32 kg. we have to pay $50 more.. Any idea?
