Keeping my fingers crossed!
Reason could be that it's my second marriage...and we had a very small civil wedding, which is ofcourse out of the norms...
Or may be they are supposed to hv an interview for every second marriage?? : looks like most of the people who had an interview were previously married.

Small civil wedding is not a big red flag but .........

A lot of ppl do not admit this..but is there anyone as an applicant/sponsor who had a 2nd marriage and NOT have an interview ?
reason i ask is, in Canada it is not big deal.. in India it still is a Red flag and chances are they will call you in to screen and they have been doing so..
This will really help clear things up with the Interview and who/why they call ppl in....
Note - I also know a few who had their first marriage and had their interview..depends on the case, Timline of marriage etc etc.

So until we understand this office we can not conclude what really makes them bring us to the interview..but 2nd marriage is 99% on the list, from what i have seen in the last 6 months.
Unless someone tells me NO its not a big FLAG.

Today is my wife's birthday and she got the best B'day gift she said...it was just magical and so it is cos i do not have a BEER now to drink ! what an irony.
She got her PP back with the Visa, pictures, COPR and a guide abt welcome to Canada.

Expiry - Nov 1, 2011 ( medicals expiry date )

I do know for a fact that everyone in this thread were wishing and hoping for my case to end soon...i dedicate this to you all.

hi,

i have got immigration visa on May 24, 2011 along with a letter. It says i need to show marriage certificate, birth certificate and reference letter and school diplomas. They did not mention anything about photo.

I am wondering what is this reference letter, and what should be content of this letter and do i need passport size photos at port of entry.
