hello everyone.... can anyone put light on the following:

Is the interview related to marriage related questions(genuiness of marriage) or they also ask for background checks, medicals and PCC questions?

They ask questions related to info on your application. Go find the pages that were posted around March 30th, I posted a detail of my husband's interview along with questions asked of him.

Are you having an interview, cause you seem really nervous.

Just came back from the Beer Store grabbing a Brava 24 case to celebrate early in the morning.
I realize this is my 1000th Post and I always wanted to dedicate it to the gang cos if not for the gang I would not have enjoyed my stay here.
So should I dedicate this to
the old gang – Nylalisa’s gang..
the new gang – Gagan/Brin/DNT’s gang

But I have decided to dedicate this post to this person who has kept me waiting for 7 long months..

Canadian High Commission – New Delhi
Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
P.O. Box 5209
New Delhi, 110 021
India

┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐ CHC ND ………………….. I have enjoyed and will enjoy my stay here.

I think this is good news, since it has been more than 6 months i guess they just wanted to ask a few questions on the phone...to make sure all is fine...did they answer your CSE yet?
Usually when they say that it means you are approved and they just wanted to do one final check.
Your status will change in a few days, looks like this is a ramdom phone screening before they issue the visa...so happy for you girl !..next is jaskiran.
I am very happy now :D
got a reply from nd they r still dng background check............& said they cant tell the time.........

Hey Guys,

My wife scanned the Confirmation Of Permanent Residence form and sent it to me. I noticed an error in the form. Under the category, "Full Name, Address and Relationship Of Person Willing To Assist" the address is incorrect (i.e. sponsor address). I was wondering if anyone had encountered such a problem? They have my old address from 10 yearso ago. I have no clue where they got this address because nowhere in my form had I put this address. I am worried that this will cause a problem at landing or receiving my wife's permanent residence card in the near future. What would you advise? Thank you in advance.

My wife sent them a CSE yesterday, outlining the out of date address. However, we had purchased a ticket for June 6, 2011 and my fear is that we will not heard back from ND by that time. Even if we do, they may request we send the COPR back so they can issue a new one with my correct address. Not sure whether I should try to cancel the ticket or leave it and hope they reply back and say it can be fixed at the Point of Entry.

This is not an issue, the only details which could cause a issue is
Name of applicant
PP number
BO.B

The sponsors address is typed in the COPR but it does not really matter as you are in CANADA regardless.
When she lands they will ask her if that address is current and is that where they should send the PR Card, ask her to say NO and give them the new address.
Just FYI my friends wife did the same thing last year as he moved to a new house a month before she landed and this is what she did. ( don guys like to move to a new place as the wife likes it clean :D )

This is nothing to worry about.
All the best.

Congrats Fprince!!

I told you she'll get her passport by Saturday!

This is great, this means you are through very soooon... what could be the reason your sf got called for interview if you do not mind telling us what you THINK?

DNT2003

Keeping my fingers crossed!
Reason could be that it's my second marriage...and we had a very small civil wedding, which is ofcourse out of the norms...
Or may be they are supposed to hv an interview for every second marriage?? ::) looks like most of the people who had an interview were previously married.

Ben

Read a few cases and i have read so many like this..
all i have to say is ..unless YOU MARRY FOR CONVENIENCE you should not be worried.
CIC can easily hunt the ppl who marry to get into canada ( not just CHC ND ) ...SO if your marriage is true, you shoould not worry about rejection but the time line...
All the best.
