i guess Jet is more popular now a days from India to Toronto commute....their prices are as compared as to Air France and KLM now....

Hey Stuck,

I agree with Fprince, Jet is the best option.

And as he mentioned, it is an international rule that carry-on luggage is limited upto 7-8 kgs only. I don't know where you got the 23kg bit.

I always fly Jet and as mentioned earlier, it is an excellent airline (better than Air India) and Brussels is a very "passenger-friendly" airport as compared to Heathrow.

and the timing of Jet landing in Toronto is very good...12:30 PM everyday....which is very good...by the time person is done with the immigration...they will be out by 2 pm(MAXIMUM)...which is good as compared to other airlines...

Just a quick update on my side..My husband has been called for an interview on June 28. Hope everything goes well..
No update on ECAS yet. He got an email abt the interview and they asked him the acknowledge the receipt of the email.

Yes. They may be very close to open my file again. So, I am waiting for few more weeks before sending them an e-mail.

All the best for your interview. It's good that they give you good amount of time. I hope they will tell you on the spot that your visa is approved and you will get the passport back with a week.

Can you share with us when did they send the e-mail?

New update :

A VO from the consulate called my hubby this afternoon and did some general inquiries. After all the questions, he said you will receive your pp within 10-12 days...Ofcourse, the website hasnt changed its status as yet..

I am hopeful !!!

I think this is good news, since it has been more than 6 months i guess they just wanted to ask a few questions on the phone...to make sure all is fine...did they answer your CSE yet?
Usually when they say that it means you are approved and they just wanted to do one final check.
Your status will change in a few days, looks like this is a ramdom phone screening before they issue the visa...so happy for you girl !..next is jaskiran.
