But a whole mnth in transit is absurd...! and they still schedule interviews with 2 weeks notice with all these postal issues! ???

I totally understand your frustration, I have a good feeling about your passport being with them, give them 2 more weeks and I really hope you hear something WAY before these 2 weeks!

Dear All

I am all confused and angry, My family in India sent my Son'spassport to CHC,New delhi on the 27 March 2011,I have an email confirming that they are in receipt of the passport dated 05 April 20114, as a spoil sport I receive a letter dated 05 April 2011 informing us that they are still awaiting receipt of the passport!!! which I received on the 21 April, I emailed CHC immediately yet till date there has been no response despite being 11 days since.

Is there a way I could contact the CHC apart from the usual email to elicit a quick response, on a separate note my son is only 1.5 years what could possibly take them over a month to take a decision, not that he would have accumulated brownie points aka; criminal background check.

Could not having a job be a reason for the delay in the application? I landed in Canada in October 2010

even if they didn't start to work on it, it would still not be possible.... there are conditions.. she / someone has to have indian roots...

or the visa ooffice has to be responsible for her file.

as per my knowledge is concerned, this is not possible...chc islamabad has already started the file and therefore they are not going o transfer the case to chc nd...

Not sure if the strike is international but the domestic prices for other carriers have skfy rocketed.
