@ FPrince,

If they created a file number then I am sure they received your Kit. The Kit is all the forms, CHC is concernd about the sponsored spouse forms. When I wrote to ND to make a change to a mistake I made, they told me there was no file as the Kit had not been received, then 2 days later, bam, KIT arrived and given a file number. I am so sure they stuck this to the side and there it sits for you. On top of that, if its In Process, they obviously have papers to process.

Start putting some pressure on them.

Hello all,

After spending 3 months preparing my application and 30+ calls to CIC Call Center, I'm happy to announce that we have got the passport back with visa today! :)

Here are our timelines:

Appl submitted to CPC-Mississauga: 1/31/2011
Sponsor Approval: 2/25/2011
Appl received at CHC-Delhi: 3/7/2011
PPR Date: 3/18/2011
eCAS changed to 'In Process': 3/30/2011
Visa Issue Date: 4/4/2011
eCAS changed to 'Decision Made': 4/9/2011

I will stay on this forum to help others. I wish everyone a speedy visa by ND :)

46 days by my system sponsor approval to visa

Either way very fast. I'm wondering if the PR application was for a child or a spouse?

Before I forget @ nb8285 Congrats!!!!!!

the longest I found was canuck0469 ---> 279 days

264 days waiting for passport request and after that 15days to get visa.

Hey Fprince..

I think you and I seem to be in the long lost fight right now, I hope you hear something quickly too. This is disheartening !!

All - thank you very much!

@drdave

Charmz,
Keep positive..i already mentioned i have seen some rare cases where the passport was in Delhi for more than 3 months, you will def get it..why maybe even this week you can see a ecas update, any minute :-)
I am a bit different though, ND didnt wanna waste INR 1 to send a PPR yet :'( cheap ba$tards.
You can expect your ecas to change any day...just be positive...

Let's celebrate that at least the majority of the people will things done fairly quickly 2-3 months in Delhi.
We are the lucky ones. 80% of the cases done in

1st China 4 months
2nd Japan 5 months
3rd Delhi, Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan 6 months

2nd Last Pakistan 21 months
Last Abu Dhabi 27 months
