My File# & UCI still un recognized by E-CAS

Congrats buddy!!

I suggest u to try your diffrent name combinations with your file number and it must work with some combination.
Sometimes they punch diffrent combination of name by mistake...like first name as last name or first name + last name as last name, etc.

just a suggestion ...I may be wrong too.

Hi all ! My case is like this.. I had file for FSW way back in early 2008 and in early 2010 i got married to a canadian citizen. My spouse filed for application under family/spousal category.

Now after all that is done .my spousal file seems to be inprocess after they have asked for my passport..my old FSW application was filed through a lawyer and when consulted i was asked to wait untill i get the spousal visa before i withdraw the old application.

Now to my surprise i find ECas showing me INProcess for both of my file irrespective of the different file numbers i use..

Is there going to be a clash ? Lawyer said they dont club the files, if thats the case am i missing on something ?

So my husband woke me up in the middle of the night (2am in Canada) to be exact, to tell me that he received his passport and COPR. I was surprised considering that they just put "Decision Made" yesterday. I guess it was the e-mail that woke them up to keep that system updated. Leads me to believe it was stamped a while ago and just didnt update like you all suggested. Anyways when I actually wake up and he calls me back I will give you guys all the details about the issue date and such.

Permanent Residence
We received MY WIFE NAME's application for permanent residence on April 5, 2011.

eCAS does bring smile to me, now lets see how fast they sending me the PPR....
