haha continued contact would not be a problem, i gave them communication for every single day since I left HIM, of call detail.

VONAGE seems great n all....but even tho they say "unlimited" i found out the hard way when i was billed over 200$ and account got suspended for having over there 3000 minut limit.
so i had to get another line, so we can have 6000 minutes a month,

guess what we just used 3000 minutes in less then a week....... im sure communication wont be a factor lol

welcome deepiv
can I suggest using Unlimitedcallingindia.ca.
i have repeatedly gone over 5k minutes with them and its 31.95 for a month.

http://unlimitedindiacalling.ca/plan_details.php?id_plan=93

they say its unlimited but i guess they suspend your account once you cross 5k or 6k.
it might be cheaper than using the Vonage plan. if you have F&F plan on your cell add their number and you are all set

i started using their service in Jan last year and still using it. will cancel once my Wife is here :)
call quality is pretty decent and apart for some downtime.. i had no issues with them.

also you can see the call details online.

I use Magicjack..its 20$ a YEAR and u buy 2 usb and send one to India..setup is pc-usb-cordless.
so for 40$ you get unlimited 24/7 FOR 1 YEAR!...for 2 lines, so from india they can also call ur cell for free.
Have been using it for 2 years now...all i can say is i saved close to 1000$ callin india these 2 years..anyone interested should try...40$ for unlimited ( and it also gives u any US/CAN number unlimited calling as well )
Clarity is amazing..wouldn't belive the other person is in India on VOIP.

Depending on where you live, Wind Mobile (www.windmobile.ca) is the best and cheapest way to call India.

I have this plan: $25 (unlimited local calling) + $20 (unlimited India). You can call from your cell phone to anywhere in India and best part is all incoming calls/txt msgs are free (even international). Can't beat that.

mobilicity has similar plans, depends on where you live and coverage

good to see some competition in the canadian cell phone market. telus/bell/rogers were literally looting us.

They still are, wind/mobilicty's coverage will need another 15-25 years to build towers throughout canada...for ppl in the GTA no issues 8)
