yes they sent it through registered post only!Its PASSPORT so we have to sign it,,,,,not necessary it shud be applicant,,,on behalf of applicant ,,,father,mother,sister,brother can take it.
they have returned our marriage photographs and pp to me,,,,,GOODLUCK !

At this point, I would just settle with "In Process".

Definetely loose, it ticks me off because they will tell you the same garbage on the phone... And yes, I am tired of hearing about people and fake marriages being approved. I know a few personally. Its disheartening when you then hear that someone has been put through the ringer in an interview and denied (but they had a valid marriage).

I understand the VOs are human and things happend and people lie and get away with it... but honestly you are right, better training needs to be offered. Not just guidelines in their OP manuals.

In your case i hope your status changes tomorrow ( cos these days the trend is that ND updates on Friday ) to 'Decision made" ;D
They might even had dispatched your passport with the visa

The signarure update will happen after a while, you will get another email in a few hours from canada post and the guy who signed for it.
Bon Voyage..CPC Miss will only contact you through post and not by email.

DNT, have a great time in India with your spouse. DOn't stress about CPC-M. They wont contact you, you will get a letter by mail in about a month, hopefully less tell you that you are approved. Around the same time you should see your E-Cas activated.

Thanks guys, I didn't know about that part just wanted to make sure, so in case I extend my stay in India more than one month, then I should around after a month, try to login with my Receipt ID and see if I find anything, also on e-cas when it asks for Birthday and name, would it be my name (as sponsor) or my wife name as (applicant)?

And Thanks again for the well wishes regarding my trip, I will definately enjoy it, thinking of taking a tour of Northern India

If you use the receipt number then you use your last name and your Bday and your place of birth and that should do it

Have a great trip, I wish I could also go to my wife and stay with her until she gets the visa and then we both can come together :-( but I have job here and have to get the citizenship next week.

Well I plan to go get my wife when she gets the Visa , saving for the ticket now

Thanks, good luck with the citizenship, and congrats on that, also it was hard for me to get this month off from my work, but I was ready to resign, so they approved, and I think I will go again to get my wife when she gets the visa, cuz we will need to bring lots of things and would be better if i accompany her.

Anyways I'm out to get a hair cut, I will come by later on, to check on things, and will depart from home around 8:30pm / after I've already checked in.

Just for the Information...

Okay, so... what DOES Ecas look like? Well here are links that will show you what to expect.ECAS is just a raw bareboned look at what's happened to your application. Very sparse and uninformative. I've read in several posts that many people never even get a single update after their applications enter the final stage and are processed at the "country of origin" visa office (in my case, New Delhi). Also, there doesn't seem to be any difference whether you login using the sponsor details + RECEIPT NUMBER OR CLIENT ID or using the immigrant's (sponsored person's) details and the IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER. The only real difference is that the immigrant does not see the status/sponsorship portion of the process.

Enough chatter, here are the links in order that you should view them:

Using the LAST NAME and DATE OF BIRTH and COUNTRY OF BIRTH of the Sponsor you will see something like this screen. It appears this way whether we use the RECEIPT NUMBER or CLIENT ID (that you will get only when your sponsorship case has been APPROVED and you receive the APPROVAL LETTER - it will be at the top right of that letter).

Okay, as I didn't pay for the RPRF (Right to Permanent Resident Fee) when I FIRST submitted my Sponsorship/Permanent Resident Application(s) to CPC-M, I want to pay it now, what do I do???
