Honestly, I would be crazy by now if I didn't have school and work to keep me distracted. Yesterday was my birthday and I was sooo depressed not having my husband with me. And next week will be our 6 month anniversary and I have seen him in all that time. :(

Hahaa...

His family actually bought a cake for me, and my husband cut it on cam for me and all the family enjoyed. I laughed for a while. Although I would have really liked to taste my own cake ;)

And yes, my file transferred 2 days after fprince which means they probably arrived together.

Belated B'day wishes, i have no idea abt how ND is processing but based on this thread your file is one of the fast for anyone who applied after nov 2010 :-)
I think for ND status means nothing and they just put it out to ensure we think they are doing something. I can not imagine an immigration system where they do not have a process..its either app received-in process-ppr- decision made or something else..but they can not have a process for each applicant..UNLESS they have a diff process for applicants when they are from diff state in India...which could explain the delay...again clueless

Can you share the contents of the PPR. what they send you and what they ask you to do? is that when they tell u that the interview is waived?

I agree with you, they should make it more uniform in processing. All of us our different. Its stupid. Having no uniformity makes it easier to justify delays.

Did you file on 02-12-2010 OR was your sponsorship approved on 02-12-2010? cos if you filed in Dec..that is super fast :-)

The PPR ask for the following:

- Police Clearance Certificate for applicant (if not already submitted)
- RPRF to be paid in Canada by sponsor (if not already paid)
- Passport for applicant

Then it says something along the lines that this does not constitute a guarantee to receiving a visa. It doesn't mention an interview at all. In fact I asked some people here about that and ND quite often ask for PPR then a month or so later tells you whether or not you are being interviewed.

Anyways the letter tells you to mail everything in one package with this letter they sent you.

Nope, its exactly the way it reads, I filed on December 2nd, 2010. My application was approved on the 6th January, 2011 (which by the way is the same date of file transfer according to the sponsorship letter). I got an e-mail saying that my file was received on 17th Jan (AOR). January 25th he got PPR and the 31st there was a second letter for some other documents.

Oh well good for you, my file has been in ND from Jan 4th but was just updated last week to in process feb 15..so i am positive that nothing was done until now..
i hope to see a PPR this week or so..i just pray i don have any complications as i am already fedup..my initial plan of mid march is not happening now, hope at least mid april..
i hope to see a lot of activity this week

What are your timelline dates, because if it has been in ND since the 4th, then thats your AOR not your transfer date, your transfer date is your apporval date.

I had a status which said " we receoved your appplication in ND on Jan 4th " this was the application received status in ECAS till last week.
My AOR which is the letter which was sent to me for approval was dated Dec 22

Yeah so ur file transfer date is 22 Dec and your AOR is 4th, Jan. Dont mean to be picky, just trying to keep accurate time lines.

Happy Belated Birthday!! Nylalisa,

I don't like weekends coz files just stay on their table lolz. Tomorrow week starts.. feeling good.
