congratulations!!! Santi...
Here is 2nd Visa issued in this week. unfortunately no PPR for us yet........

congrats santiv!!!!!!!!! so happy for u really.. what does ur ecas say?? Then the other MP who said that Delhi has sent u some letter was all wrong or what?? May be ur representative in canada has received that letter, if ur using one?

I am not sure what really happened about sending more info, I also sent what we had previously provided to the MP this time and she must have sent it to Ottawa where they found it sufficient information... ND was just asking for it again for some reason, maybe they lost some of the papers in the mailroom? We knew they had received it though because there was a change of address on the papers that they put up on ECAS (from our lawyers address to his India address) The information they wanted was about my husbands work as a Yoga teacher when he was abroad, which was kind of weird that they needed all the information, they had his education proof, a clear police certificate from russia etc... in any case we provided it all... contract etc etc.. everything is legal.. So I guess that Ottawa saw it and was content, they must have told someone at New Delhi that we have provided all the info and to give the visa? I am guessing that is what happened because the email yesterday from the MP told me that they gave him the Visa yesterday... ECAS status hasn't changed as of yet... We are happy ppls:) + i believe our MP was a real help.

Horray!!! I contacted my MP again today, it was a different woman than I had spoken with a month prior. She put in an enquiry again and Ottawa went straight to ND because at this point we applied 7 months ago... And within one day she emailed me and told me GOOD NEWS!!! THEY ISSUED HIS VISA TODAY!!! We are crying with joy here and soooo happy!
Congratulations SantiV :D

i just called up and immigration consultant today to get some info on the controversial issue of sponsor visiting a spouse and staying there, and what could be the possible impact that could have on the case itself!!

Now i floated this question this morning for debate, some ppl shared some great info but even they werent sure about that either!

Some argued that it takes longer time for spouses to get visas if sponsors visit them and stay with them, because CHC- already knows the whereabouts of the sponsor exits and entry into canada.

The consultant told me that CIC- is under the strict order of the minister of CIC jason kenny not to hold a case unnecessarily!!!

And that i doesn't impact the delays in the application process!!

Now my problem is folks that im more confused then ever, can anyone guide me if i should contact CIC canada itself or talk to MP about this? I will still float this question for further debate, your comments in this matter will be highly appreciated folks.

wht i mean is if u will scroll up and read lines below heading u will find this >>>

The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices outside Canada once Step 1 has been completed. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2009, and September 30, 2010. Processing times are subject to change.

I don't trust consultants. Why would it be a problem when you are an Indian Citizen ( or Have a valid visa to vist India?). No one can or should stop you from seeing anyone of the 1.2 Billion we have there. Whether your spouse got PPR or not is not the issue..but they always ask for an explanation as to why the 2nd visit happened cos not everyone does it due to the job, time off, $ issue..They just want to know the details of the visit if it happened..my friend did the same thing and when he came back to Canada CHC ND called him to clarify about his visit after marriage...and all was fine.
