Thank you all,

I sent them an email inquiring about the password being received or not along with all the other docs and then they said they received the passport. I got another separate email in which nothing else is mentioned but they have requested the FBI. Now they hve got the passport in the one email and they are requesting FBI in the other one...

Its just so irritating...

Its so painful

Why are they giving so much trouble.

Is there any validity / expiry of FBI Clearance doc that u submitted?

Need help on how to fill section 10 of imm0008_1e ( Back ground declaration form ) ?

GIve the number of years of school completed ?

elementary / primary school =

Secondary / High school =

university / College =

Trade School / other post secondary school =




My educational details

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.

Please help me whether i i need to write my 2 year of diploma in pharmacy ( from University of Rajasthan , Jaipur )

in last colum (Trade School / other post secondary school) or Need to fill in university / College Field ?

Adihanda, dont worry. yeah its so irritating. MP is the best soln. Surprised that they send email n all for addn doc request. I thot immigration system still follows the stupid regular normal letter, when v ve so many advanced technologies.

Thanks Panda for a warm welcome, Yes exactly we didn't have enough time to spend after the marriage, on our wedding night we did goto a hotel, and I have the bill from the hotel. I don't have a lot of pictures after the wedding, but there are few which I took my self, and I'm still waiting for the parcel to arrive with all the pictures (about 800) from the professional camera guy. So I can choose the ones for the KIT.

I asked few people about the name change and everyone suggested its a good idea, so I took the step and proceeded with that route. PPC will be delayed by 2 more days as it is 26th Jan in India, and the commisionair wasn't available to issue it, not to mention we have a letter from the head of the police of Surat, but our local police station is in Kosama (another town), so we have to take that letter to them.

I know there are few more delays in my case, and I'm hoping my wife can make it by Feb 1-5, 2011 to get the medical done, then also Panda, I was thinking of completing the application my self, I too have been reading the forums, forms, and the guide, and I have some parts completed. I know for that I will seek your, and everyons helpe here. Thanks to this forums

Good to see one more aspirant here in the forum, you can ask what ever questions you have and we will do our best to answer and help you with anything you need help with,From the timeline you posted it sounds that you and your wife didn't had enough time to spend with each other, it gets so hard I know that.I hope you have enough ( 40-50 ) post marriage pictures for your kit.

Yes, the Spouse name change on the PPT and the PPC are two things that should be completed before hand in order to expedite the case.I did that too.

Well I hope you complete the KIT fast and send it to CIC Mississauga for approval.I think your Representative is going to do that all for you.I started preparing my case 3 months before my marriage so that's why I decided to file it myself as I am quite familiar with the process now.

Once u r done with ppc thing ask ur wife to go for medical things
while applying make sure tht u and ur wife has singed all the forms
marriage certificate most important thing
attach as much as u can photographs of urs if possible ur 1st meeting with ur wife,engagement,wedding,reception pics,,,, with this shorter span of ur visit to India i dont think u had enough time for honeymoon,,,, but if u went thn add honeymoon photos,,,hotel bills,and means of transport u have used at tht time,,if u didnt thn give them convincing reason with a brief cover letter
keep records of ur phone calls,,,
if u cant keep records of ur phone calls thn do chat and send e-mails as well to each other,,,,
most important thing is chk ur application forms 2-3 times b4 applying for visa,,,,
and if possible thn use ur lawyer but ask chc to post all document request on ur wifes address,,,delays by any chance are just cant be acceptable as we all suffering

I have been following your timeline, I hope you and everyone else waiting get what they are hopping for soon

Also name change is not an issue, but after the person arrives in canada all the names on all the documents, SIN, Health, License, etc will have FATHER name, I didn't think it was a big issue, but then I am someone who would prefer / LIKE to have my name with my wife. so I went that route.

I also didnt change my lastname, as I have my father's name in all my other certificates When they have all wedding pics (showing all rituals) and marriage certificate etc etc, why would they want the lastname as the oly proof? I have added my spouse in the ppt though.

Did u get the short form of PPR today, asking just the ppt and FBI, and deadline given as 45days? Also signed by an immigration officer?

I don't know if its just me or for everyone else too, cic . gc . ca is not working, and then the domain changed to goingtocanada . gc . ca , and the website is soooo slow, and i'm hardly able to browse, I can't even open the forms.

I hope they are taking some steps to fix the issues with ecas that everyone is having,
