Not really, my dad just booked and appointment, and we both went in with all of our papers, and told him the situation, as we are waiting in our 5th month, and as well as we got 2 letters for PPR, that was the scary part, but now we have a piece of mind that they have it and waiting for medical reports, which is strange as my wife got it done while i was in India, in July. ND knows how to Bulls***. I suggest you guys do it as well, at least you kow where you stand in the processing line.

now i doubt my MP will care as my file was sent over just recently on jan 4th...he'll tell me to wait lol and i should wait!!

Well, i just got back frm indian visa office in toronto.....i have my plane tix n now have applied for the indian visas for the kids n i. im going to see my husband. i cant wait!! for 5mths. And it would be nice if they approved his visa while i was there.

Ur right. We dono what exactly ND is doing with our files at the moment. Only they know it But if they are gonna start our background only after the medical clearance, it l be horrible as thats the one which takes lot of time!!!! WHY SHUD THEY WAIT FOR SO LONG for background? seeing mikoo's case, once they have asked her abt medicals, and then later on, they have said that they are doing background. so it looks like they start background after medicals ?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pls.
Also will it be possible to ask those MPs abt our background verification?

Guys,

I am not sure but, i think we all need to go to ND, and getting classes on how to Bulls***, as my dad and I called the medical center that my wife went to to get her medical, and they said after the medical it takes them 7 days to ship the file to ND. So ND has the medical results, so why the hell are they saying we are still waiting for medical results, they are just buying time. This is the first time i have seen such laziness go on, it is like they dont care, they got our money, so lets take our sweet time in processing. Such idiots.

But it is good to know that the medical report is sitting somewhere in ND. i have a feeling that since we put a fire up there @$$, they will start to process our case faster. hoping they wrap it up by the end of the week and ship it so we can get it by next week. just hoping, going on the predictions of adihanda.

Lets see what happens.

Yes Missingyou its very bad of them am very scared abt background verification. When they take this much time for medicals itself (which shudnt take much time at all), what abt background check, which actually takes a lot of time?

No i didnt get any response ,,,dont know wht to do????even my parents and in-laws are worried abt my visa like all of us
day by day its getting on our nerves now,,,,,
don't know if CHC cant handle the visa things then y did they keep launching new new ideas for attracting more and more people to migrate their country ,,,and if we r ready to migrate then y keep us waiting like this ,,,i simply dont understand their policies ???

even my parents and in-laws are worried so much, like us.. every1 is worried. Except ND!!! they work at snail's pace!! Guess even snail would go a bit faster compard to ND!

get your spouse to talk to the MP, as from your timeline it is past 6 months, and on the website it says you can do an inquiry, send them another email. Best best would be to get your spouse all the paperwork and talk to MP, you will get answer in 2 business days. Just like me, went on Friday, and got answer on Tuesday. This should not take past 6 months. and holding on to passport for 3 months that is very bad. Give it a try, what is the worst that will happen, they say we cannot give you infor, the best that can happen is that you get your PP, before the response.

hey everyone.
does it really help to talk to MPs? we don't really have any connections to MPs, but if it makes definitely helps in hastening the process, then it may be worth trying.

i was looking through other threads of aug/sept 2010 applicants and many countries are MUCH faster than ND, even through official processing times for delhi are quicker. and in most cases people get there passports back within 2-3 weeks of sending them to the respective visa offices. ND is absolutely terrible. i wish there was something we could do...any way to voice our complaints and improve the efficiency of the staff there. any ideas?
