I pray tomorrow is the day for a lot of us I wish I knew where our application was in it's process as I may go to my husband at the end of the month if we don't hear anything this week. We have been waiting for seven months now and I have never been more emotional in my life. The problem is, that the flights are very expensive and how are we to know that he won't be accepted the day I arrive in India? We really want to begin a life where we can be together... as I am sure all of you do.

For those people who cannot find their application on E-cas I would search the sponsors name (w/ client ID). They have spelt my husbands name wrong on the site as well as the corresponding letters (we have contacted them twice to let them know). Supposedly, it is not a big deal but we have to search through my name because his does not work.

Many blessings tomorrow to you and to the people who are working at the consulate, i am sure their job is not an easy one and I pray they make good decisions... and soon!

hey santiv,
its definitely a difficult decision. i can totally relate. i was feeling extremely emotional early december and was so close to flying to mumbai to meet my husband. thankfully the PPR came through dec 13 and that gave us some strength to push through this process. it's a good thing i didn't go then as ticket prices were in the range of $2000-2400. i believe fares have dropped now in case you are planning a trip.

ya bottomline is, it's a risk you take - you may reach India and your husband gets his PP back the same day. or you enjoy your time with him and he gets the PP after you return to Canada. or you just wait it out in Canada. wish there was some way around this uncertainty, but unfortunately there isn't.

my husband is so funny - his plan for the next 2-3 days is to sit at home and wait for the courier to arrive! he wants to see the PP as soon as it gets to our home.

yes t is frustrated and emotional. I didn't know why people call this 'waiting game'. Now I am on a board and understand.

I too wish the office give us more detail informations of process. I don't even know the office got application......

and since we are applying to India, I like to see the picture of Vishnu with Laximi.
they are happy togather united and that scene makes me strong.

I have also contacted my MP and they seemed to get word very fast. They can only make an enquiry after a certain time though. They were told that we had missing information on our file which is strange and untrue although there was an obvious typo in his personal history, it was cleared up over 4X in our application and they had my husbands passport which also supported his personal history. It sucks because we had a lawyer work on our application with us and the typo was supposedly passed over 4X.... Like i said though it was obvious because it noted he worked in one job in another country from Dec 2009 to Nov 2009.... But his passport states otherwise as well as his address and supplementary info and other documents we initially submitted.

Anyways, we submitted more documents Mid-december and it looks as though they have not looked at our file again yet. Hopefully, they do tomorrow and are satisfied with what we gave them... The MP told me that it probably has and will postpone our process considerably... boo

I guess this is notice to anyone still filling out the application to make sure that it totally correct, I thought ours was but unfortunately there was an small and obvious error.

Anyways, all the best of luck and thanks for the encouraging words...

I totally understand ur situation! Its really bad.. dont worry, ul get decision made today!! And am trying with my sponsor's client id oly. Under Permanant Residence status, it still says Not available. Its not changed to In Process though I got PPR and sent my ppt.

oh ok. Obviously they wont respond immediately u might ve to wait for this whole week atleast. Ur ecas might change to Decision made before that! Tomo is tuesday. Its already showing in process right? What abt the medicals? Does it also say Medical results are received?

no change for me ..............booooooo, in a couple of days our case will be entering the 6 month of process...what kind of process are they doing? I still have not heard from then via email or phone, i dont know what the hell they are doing. have not heard back from my MP as well. arrrgggg now it is getting really frustrating.
