i m fine sanyrog,,,,,hopefully this Tuesday we will get some good news :)

Hey Guys,

I can't take this anymore, this is very frustrating. No words back from ND. So I have taken it to the extreme.....I took yesterday off, and went with my dad to meet up with the local MP, and they are going to help us, they have sent an email directly to ND, with all my info, and the two copies of the PPR, and proof from the courier company, and should get a quick response. I asked the MP why they respond to your inquiry and not ours, and they said as they are member of parliament, they have to respond asap.

So lets see what happens now. This step better work.

Good job missingyou! I am going to do the same thing once my file is transferred to ND. It's so pity that we all have to stay apart from our spouses right after wedding >:( I heard that if I were a student/temporary worker, I could have brought my wife right away with me! I assumed it would be faster for permanent residents/citizens. I should be other way around. We just got married in Nov after waiting for many years and still we are so far from each other after marriage. It's pathetic. Good luck to all of us...Regards

You are right Vish,we also got married in november after all the effort and hardships.the process need to be on fast process plate.6-7 months is just ridiculous, all those stupid laws.its all abt money. They allow students fast process application just coz they pay huge international fees.that's insane.
Just waiting for my file to be transfered to New Delhi and see what happens after that.
Keep in touch Vish with all the progress.

I hope its not going to be 6-7 mths....crazy!!
Ive been married since 2007, been together since 2005, lived with him frm marriage til this yr ..we have 2 CDN kids. I want all of us to live in Canada now.cant believe they make ppl wait long. Those boat ppl who landed up in BC n claim refugee..had an easier time coming than our spouses. Well, good news im off to visit my hubby in india next mth with kids...we booked today but id be happier if i knew when my hubby was coming to can for good.

Missingyou: good job going to ur MP. How long have u been waiting? I hope this step works for u. Why dont they issue visa right away after PPR or at least update uswhats going on.

Panda, Mikoo, Vish, Missinghim,

I totally agree with u all!! when other countries have lot of other options for the spouses to come to their country, if the other one is a PR, there is no such option for canada !! so painful n frustrating!! they wont issue us visit visa, at the same time they l take their own time to issue us the PR... and noone can ask them anything!!!!!!!!!!! even if we ask, they r not ready 2 give us any reliable replies!!! we also got married during last may itself, and due to various reasons, my husband was able to submit my appln oly on sep 1st :( so I really cant wait to get my visa and see my husband :(((( its so painful!!!!!!!!!! and affects our health a lot!!!

Missingyou,

Thats a gr8 job!!! let us knw what those Mps find out.

Yes Sanyrog. Background verification is a separate process and you are right, it would be going on .. .. even before the passport

Thanks akrk. My ppt request letter was dated dec 2nd, but I received it oly on Dec 22nd, so I hope that they must ve started my background verification by Dec 2nd atleast, at the earliest, and wont be waiting for my passport!!!

i think we all applicant should ask them shorter time span for the process,,,,if we all are suffering bcoz of it our life is on fire ,,,every second is hard to spend without spouse,,,,,if affects various way,,,by health,,,,,ppl around us dont understand these reasons wht immigration section is giving,,,,which makes our condition worst than living in Hell >:(

Vish, no idea :( But I really want to find out if there is any public grievances cell. :(

Hey guys add me in the group too..

File transferred :28 october
File received by new delhi : 8 november
Still waiting for PPR

Sanyrog im in similar situation as u
Well, ive been married for over 5 yrs n lived w/ hubby in india right after marriage til May of this yr..but like u we separated early i came to canada early w/o him for various reasons...needed time to reestablish myself ( ii was a returning resident) was the biggest reason) so like u i didnt apply for sponsorship til Oct. He's visited me here in canada since may twice but like u we've been separated for too long. More than the time betw submitting app n present.
Mikoo i totally agree with u. Every day without him is painful. My son is only 17 mts n doesnt understand it. He doesnt kno what it is like havign a daddy every since he was 8 mths old. My daughter whose 2 knows who daddy is but i dont know what she thinks...she "talks" to him on the phone n sees his pic. I feel bad for her the most. What goes thru her mind. U r so right other countries have an easier n faster way of brining spouses in. Im surprised most european countries its so easy. This is our family n while i agree w/ medical n criminal checks n proving marriage is real i cant believe it would take ND 6 mths. It cant be true. They r not working hard for all of the 6 mths or 4 mths or whatever they do it in. They dont seem to care that these r our spouses. financially im suffering because my husband is the bread winner..im a stay at home mum. My husband has a great job in india but kids n i since may r in canada n we r living off of an indian income! Emotionally we suffer too like all of us do. Sorry to vent but it seems like we would have an easier time if we got our spouses to come on a boat..hahahhahahaha ...canada doesnt turn away thse boat ppl who come n claim refugee status then wait 6yrs in canada take taxpayers money as they wait for their hearing...most r not true refugees..for those boat ppl that came in, england n usa turned them away but canada accepted them. All we want is 1 person our love our soulate, our best friend, father to kids, our spouse to come join us.
