Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

This Family Class application was received by our office on 02-10-2010 after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please click here. Hey,I jus got a reply ND that they have created a file number starting with F00---.however no e-cas update and no information with this file number and they said your application is pending for intial review.
Guys all file numbers start with F.kindly reply.

congrats rbaweja. urs got transferred on sep 30th, and it has reached delhi on oct 2nd. And we are not sure when they ve exactly started processing ur file. We ve also sent email on nov 22nd itself,and havent got any reply yet but they must ve sent PPR for u also, as they ve done for sonia and applied03. not sure why they havent.

thanks applied03. hoping that way. Waiting to get an email atleast 4m ND, to make sure that my file is opened. Seeing others have already got email, not sure why I havent got any reply.. we sent email on Nov 22nd or so.

@ sanyog : You can call them. but as u don't have Immigration file no., I don't think they will entertain u. But u can gv a try. There is no harm in calling. As u r going to ask about any update regarding ur case. U jst need to change ur address.

But Case specific inquiry will b better

deepak. Thanks. But I tried calling that number today. It says we cannot get any status update thru phone. Its oly thru email or case spec enquiry. so no luck

Guys our lawyer got reply today from delhi. Reply is the same like previous. Saying they ve not yet received the appln kit from canada. whats this?When files are opened for others, why its still not opened for me?? so upset..

Yes they will not give any status update... but did u inquired about address change..

Anyways make a case specific inquiry for address change..
Stay positive.. sometimes they just send the general mail.
