Hello all!!!

I am new to this thread, its really nice seeing all these messages. So here is my story.

My husband is a Canadian PR, and we got married recently and he sponsored my PR immediately during June 2010. Due to few reasons, we had to withdraw our application and resubmit it and the new application has reached Missisauga on Sep 1st. We are going through a representative this time, to make sure a smooth progress.

Our representative has sent the application to their billing dept on Aug 27th, and since it takes few more months to get processed, I thought of taking vacation from my company, and go in Temporary Visa and come back and continue my job, till I get my PR. Hence applied for Single Entry Visa on Aug 30th . Unfortunately, my visa got rejected under Regulation 179:( though I ve mentioned abt my company, sent the leave approval, and mentioned that I gotta come back to India for my PR stamping also. So now, no other go other than waiting :( till I get my PR.

Thanks Chinthu we sailing in the same boat :) ..do keep me updated on your status...

Thanks for the prompt reply..

hey i just wonder who has guided u to apply for TRV when u r married to a canadian PR and also waiting for ur immig??

Since u guys r from India i hope ur case is straight like 1st mrg to both of u and no kids nothing .. you could've applied your PR directly without any representative .. just a normal paper work .. since u r employed i think tht would have been much easier for u to get ur paper works done ..

why i am saying is i heared somewhere in this forum that applying PR through some representative may delay ur processing ( someone pls correct me if i am wrong) ...

anyways nothing cn be done now .. your appl'n would have reached Mississauga now.

Another 30 days to get ur 1st level sponsorship approval .. ;) ;) ;)

get engaged in your own way .. days will just fly like anything ..

Good Luck .. Wishing u a speedy visa processing ...

Hi Guys,
Here is my time line:
Application Received : 05 July 2010
Sponsorship Approved : 05 August 2010
Processing Started : 20 August 2010
Passport Request from New Delhi office : 26 August 2010
Passport Sent : 27 August 2010

It seems Chinthu n Me are on the same track. Guys i recently mailed ND about where my process stands n in reply they said:
This Family Class application was received by our office on August 16, 2010 after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

Guys what is this Initial Review...
HOpe n Pray that all get their VIsa Stamped Soon:)

Hi to all who have got maple leafs in their PPs and those who r still waiting patiently to join their loved ones...
Though Im not posting frequently now a days ,im just following this thread and happy that ive started it and lots of newbies have joined recently so glad on dat part...

I c a lot of members here saying that they have emailed CHC and got responses as initial review, final review, background checks,etc,etc...
once they get these replies they just bang their heads n get worried unable to figure out wats goin on wid their files and in the end they send another email and get a different response and it just makes them more troubled than b4...

Please guys my sincere advice, dont just email them as soon as u send ur PPs...I know its hard 2 control u wanna know whether ur PPs r safe(u can always track it with Bluedart)....I also been in d same situation...but my advice CONTROL URSELF.....
some of u believe dat once u email they'll rmember 2 take out ur file 4m d queue n stamp ur PPs immediately bt its nt true...BUT SOME SAY THAT THEY GOT VISA AFTER THEY SENT AN EMAIL....it might b just a COINCIDENCE....the emails dat u get r sysytem generated so it'll just change each time n NO VISA OFFICER WILL READ UR EMAIL N UPDATE WATS EXACTLY GOIN ON...PLZ DONT LET UR EMAILS SLOW DOWN UR PROCESS(I READ SOMEWER DAT IT DOES....)

BE GLAD DAT U HAV APPLIED IN ONE OF THE FASTEST VISA PROCESSIN OFFICE N MOSTLY THEY FINISH WITHIN 3 MONTHS ALTHOUGH THEY SAY 6 MONTHS....
a member in dis forum called xyrus has nt yet emailed dem n he waits patiently(sorry xyrus for pointing u)...
GUYS DONT MISTAKE ME...IM NT REFERRING ANY1 SPECIFICALLY....JUST WANNA SHARE MY THOUGHTS....ENJOY UR STAY IN INDIA COZ ONCE U R IN CANADA U'LL SURELY MISS INDIA A LOT(TRUST ME,I HAVE)....

SENDING LOTS OF VISA DUST TO ALL WHO R WAITING TO MEET THEIR LOVED ONES....:)

I am agree with Rachel....

if you sending them so many query emails about Ur case it's not good for Ur case ...

a single Vo have few cases in hand at a time so they have to manage everyone and it's take a little time but guys i think we r lucky coz ND is fastest visa office all over in world.

take it easy and play waiting game as me and Minku doing............ lol

Best of luck friends.

Hey Rahul me ,u and chintu have the same timeline on our application .Keep me posted if u hear anything from CHC ND :)

Chinthu,

Thank u so much :) yeah have to wait. Our representative told us that we can apply for Temporary Visa, when our PR is in progress. Since I am employed, I thought Canadian Immigration will knw thta Il def come back to India. Unfortunately, no :( they dint believe. So I cant go to Canada till my PR is stamped. Hence my husband is gonna come for 3weeks or so.

And is it true that using representative makes the process slow? :( Since we made errors in our 1st application and had to withdraw it, we went thru representative this time, to make sure we dont make any mistakes.

sanyrog,

hoping that ur husband is ur sponsor, it is better dat he stays in canada while PR is in process...der r some cases whose appln. got rejected bcoz of d sponsor stayin wid applicant...y dont u wait till ur PR process so dat u can b together permanently wid ur spouse...plz dont try to visit him or make him visit since its gonna b tough 2 re-apply again(since u have alreadt re=applied after withdrawing so dont take risks)....i know its hard 2 stay away 4m spouse but there isnt any other way...best of luck....
