I emailed them again today and got the same computer generated answer..GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR......

This wait is killing me...

my husband too emailed them yesterday and got reply today-"your file is waiting final review by the visa officer.following the review decision and passport will be mailed to you by registered post".does it mean all the background checks are over now?

ipskang can you please tell me which computer generated reply you got?plzzzzzzzz reply thanks in advance.

Oh wow! really! Congrats! Someone else also got the "final review" reply and after 2-3 days the visa was issued! I think it was "bythebook". this is definitely good news for u & I don't think they will ask for any docs. or interview u! I feel like emailing them too now and c wot stage im in....

ur so encouraging n motivating minku9 thx. ipskang turned in his PP on july 16th but I don't know if processing is random or priority basis after PP submission.

Honestly, im kinda nervous about the kind of response I will get from them. Call it fear of the unknown! My case is definitely more complicated than all of you as its my 2nd time so they are definitely going to scrutinize and go deeper! I still want to wait till the end of the month before I email them + I havnt even received my FBI clearances till now. I should be getting it by end of the month or sept. 1st week. Not that they asked for it but I want to have it ready if they do ask. I submitted copies of US FBI clearances from my previous app. with this app.

@Xyrus - so going by the trend...it took them 1 month to review our app initially in ND....then it takes them another month+- after sending PP to hear back, provided case is clean!

Based on that, they opened my app on July 21 and i sent my PP on July 29...Im guessing i should hear back by the end of this month...what do u think???

Going by past few months' trend, 4-5 weeks has been the average time for CHC-Delhi to process PR visas. So definitely by the end of the month or Sept. 1st week for sure! Good Luck!

hey, dilneet its a great news!! so ur gonna get ur visa soon....by the way, wat exactly did ur hubby ask in the email? i will email them if i didnt hear till 1st week of sept...dey received my PP only on aug 4th and there r lot of guys b4 me...so have 2 wait :-(
