Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. Its nice to see so many updates as well. My status just changed last night to Decision Made. Now I can finally believe that everything is done!

Hopefully, you will get your passport in the next couple of days and your tension will become happiness!

Hi All,

When i recieved my sponsor confirmation from CPC mississauag, they told me that the form additional family information was not signed by my spouse so they returned me my form and asked me to resend the form to delhi.
My spouse have already send the same to NEw delhi, but as we got the PO box address we are not sure whether they have recieved it or not, we send it on 3 july.
My case is still not updated on the cic site so not sure if they have started my spouse processing for permanent residence.
Please suggest where I can contact them to confirm if they have recieved the form or not?

you can mail them at delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca..they will respond you back in 2-3 days

Hi, this was on another post

\ - the latest Immigration news
Apparently they will be providing further training to IO's at overseas embassys, d/t the high amt of Fraudulent Marriages they suspect especially from countries where marriages are arranged. They will be doing more interviews with both the sponsorer and the person being sponsored so they can be a bit more vigilante in identifying marriage of convenience. They go on to say unfortunately a few people whose marriage is genuine do occassionally get denied in the process. Basically what they are looking at now is any marriage that is dissolved in 3 yrs or less of the person being issued PR will be considered a marriage of convenience.
It is so unfortunate that the good has to suffer for the bad. I am glad to be over this process and i will continue to pray for those who has to endure the long wait times because of some unscrupulous opportunists out there.
