My husband rec'd a courrier mail today (dated Aug 13th), asking him to send 'additional family form'. I already had included this in the application to CPC-M, and gcms notes that we rec'd a couple weeks ago didn't mention anything about this form being missing/incomplete. He's going to mail it express tommrw, we're assuming this will delay our application by a few months now. Have any other members been requested to submit additonal forms? If so, how long did it take for you to hear the next response from Delhi?

s/he can be deported only if there was any misrepresentation in PR application but its almost impossible to deport on the basis of fraud marriage. here are some links for the related topics

Yes Mumpy, you can send an email to the MP office rather than going there directly. The MP assistant will be able to help you ASAP. My husband did not go there directly he got the reply through the assistant. Explain them about your situation with all the details, such your file number client id.

Hello Everyone,

After going through security Clarence with RCMP and all other formalities for over then a year, two months ago I was asked to submit new medicals and PCC as the previous one were expired. Now I have a question if someone can help?
How long it takes to get passport back with visa after submitting new medicals and PCC? I enquired through MP two weeks ago and CHC said that file is waiting for the review from visa officer who will check if background checks And medicals have been completed. But as per the reply I received from RCMP regarding security check it was completed in May and results were sent to CHC.
So can anyone tell me how long still I have to wait to get my passport back?

Regards
Karaneet

Hi,

the 8 Months process times that CIC mentions on their website for new Delhi Applicants , will it be counted from the day they receive the file or from the day our ecas shows in process ? can anyone put a light on this matter my ecas status is as below they have my passport since Feb 2012

We received your application for permanent residence on January 10, 2012.

We started processing your application on June 15, 2012.

So, I'm a September 2011 applicant. I see a lot of people's cases have been solved within 8 months timeframe. But mine is still hanging. This is insane, I have done my meds/PCC second time. My interview was smooth, the VO said it herself that it's a pretty straight forward case...Then what's delaying?? I had sent my passport on July 7 and e-cas still shows as "in process". This wait is getting beyond belief. Anyone still waiting from that time period? My husband and I are too drained out and this mentally very exhausting ! Anyone pllllllssss give any information would be of great help. Thank you.

I completely understand your frustrations sister, because I am in same boat as you are. I have filed for my wife back in OCTOBER 2011, all documents submitted, Interview was smooth back in June, it has been in process since the interview, her medicals and PCC is set to expire in 50 days, I am tired of this long wait, she has no travel history. I get jealous where ppl get their visa in 4 to 5 months where my papers has been sitting in ND over 6 months.... according to the website the visa should be processed within 6 months once it transferred to ND. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/family_class-regroupement_familial.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

Does your ecas show chandge of address also?

Hi there,

Ok here you go with my details. My husband who is a Canadian citizen sponsored me back in Sept 2011. My file got transferred from Mississauga to ND on Dec 1. I got acknowledgement letter in Jan and at the same time they asked me to send my PP which i did. After that no news until May ! Suddenly they wake up and decide to interview me to see if the marriage is genuine. I got interviewed in ND on June 13. The interview was so basic. She hardly asked me any questions. At the end of my interview the VO asked me to send my renewed PCC/Meds along with passport and told me that it's a pretty straight forward case. It's been over 2 months i did that and no news ! Ecas showed "in process" since the day of my interview. What are they trying to do further with my case??? Why can't they understand that it's been over a year I saw my husband ! We are both frustrated beyond belief. How much more testing are we supposed to go through staying apart from eachother? I can't focus on my work life either. Isn't it right that interview is the last step to visa?

I feel your pain, I hear you because it's a similar case. What does your wife's e-cas status show? Did you guys write to the High commission? I hear contacting MP might be of help. Your thoughts?
