Correction--it did change once again when it changed to In Process as they added the part about when they start processing my application--sorry about that!

Thank you for the reply!!

Thats weird because mine just says "In Process" for the status and when I click on it,
It just tells me application received Dec 14th. It
Doesn't say anything about when they started the process or anything about medicals yet.

Sri has the same thing as me.

That's so exciting! I bet you are so excited to see your husband and start your lives
Together. I bet you can't sleep tonight ;) you must have been busy preparing for his arrival.
My husband is coming to visit me in 3 weeks!!! I can't wait! The last time I saw him was November.
When he comes, we are going to Orlando together, booked everything already :) it will be our mini honeymoon trip!

You can't be serious with that "Halo"
anyway, it looks like you pretty much got all the forms. You can send copies of education background, pictures, birth certificate, emails, phone bills, etc. But fir sone reason, I think they prefer original cards (birthday cards, V. Day cards... Etc)

As far as her name in Hindi, have you tried typing her name into Google Translate from English to Hindi and then copying and pasting?? I'm not too sure about that part because I left it blank and let our lawyer take care of it.
I believe that all signatures must be in it's original form. No scanning or copying. My husband and I Sebring forms back and forth, since we both had to have our original signatures on all the IMM forms the required both of our signatures.

i hope so ( Inshaallaah ) :)

Dreamsca & Yug,

Have you guys talk to your MPs? It shouldn't take this long for no reasons...... If your medical is expired or about to expired, talk to MP and tell them to push ND. In most cases, they would issue visa before med exp date if nothing is holding the file.

wow that is scary! we were requested additional information so i thought at least they must've started doing the bc in the meantime. Well, will let you guys know the dates on the gcms notes when we get them

They wouldn't start BC until they are done with initial review. BC is the last thing they do before issuing visa. If you had provided additional proof long time ago, you should hear any update from them soon..

Hmmm i am confused...i thought when new delhi receives application, thought the ecase should say "Application received for Permanent residence YYYY-MM-DD(thought this would be the date when new delhi receives the file, but that date is when CIC-M receives file) Means 6months for Newdelhi starts from the day when CIC-M receives application??? so much confused...

I sent my application to Mississauga on OCT 21 and when i check my status shows that Application received for Permanent residence OCT 21.

BTW that you and me have same date for PPR which is March 28th. keep in touch Canadianlegacy@gmail.com

seems like all February PPR is getting visa now. Looks like they are going to start working on March PPRs next week.

hi newdelhi
have you received your passport yet??
how long it took in your case to complete BC??? our case is very similar to yours. i lived in UK for more than 1 year. still waiting for sponsor approval ??? ???

Can we apply for the GCMS notes more than one time. I mean if I can apply next month and then if required after few more months. Is this feasible?

They sent the request for additional info out on Feb 17. We sent it back to them and they received it by Mar 16. The deadline they had given to return the info was Apr 2.

So its been 3 weeks since they have the info and no news yet. Ecas still shows 'Application Received'. Waiting for requested GCMS notes to get more details.

vengat...any update on your file?

Nothing yet...It says In Process.

They started processing the application from Feb 20. I dont know what checking they are doing, but hoping they should complete before july 8th as thats when our medicals are expiring.
Worst case they should have something atleast before this october, as it would complete one year from our application date.
The max date that I have in excel with still in process is 322 ! Mine is still in 185, so long way to go !

When you click on the "In Process" link, does it tell you which date they started processing? Or does it just say "Application received on..... Medicals received" ... ?

Nothing much...Says app rec'd on Jan 3.

Doesnt even talk abt medicals.

hw abt you?

Did it say medicals rec'd?

I send you a PM sometime back? did you receive it?

Does your wife have any travel history?

When I click on it, it says...
Application received on Oct 04 (the CPC-M date)
started processing from Feb 20
medicals results have been received

But dont worry about that....for each person, we get to see different information. Dont be bothered about it.
