We got the approval for CSQ! Since my husband lives in Quebec, we have one extra step to go through- while our application is in New Delhi!
NOW New Delhi should request for my passport or do something!!!!! like medical received or change it to in process

@ Canadianswie,

Mine passport has been requested almost 4 months back from that time i'm still waiting for my visa.. I really don't know what ND doing.

as my status was reflecting In Process and all of sudden it got changed back to "Application Received", which is quite strange.

There are only few people in this forum whose status changed back to APR.

BTW, when did you apply?

Oh man! Has it been 6month for you yet? Contact the MP or order the notes thing, have you tried that? I Would go ahead and order the notes too. Maybe the changing back is a glitch in their system.

I applied in December. Are you able to see my timeline on the left?

COMPUTER ASSISTED IMMIGRATION PROCESS SYSTEM (only From 5$ )

CAIPS (or "Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System") is where all Canadian government notes are kept about your immigration application. CAIPS includes a wealth of information, including:

Here is how to obtain your CAIPS notes yourself :

You must be living in Canada or have someone in Canada to do the same for you. If you are living in Canada you can order your CAIPS notes or on behalf of someone else for free under the Privacy Act.

1) Go the site : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563B.pdf and fill in the form with the required details i.e.:

a] Visa post (e.g. Buffalo, NY etc.)
b] File number (e.g. BXXXX..)
c] Date of Birth
d] Your Postal address (In Canada address only)

2) Check on the box for the CAIPS notes request in the form.
3)Provide a photocopy of your valid permit/visa in Canada (Person requesting).
4) Write a cover letter requesting the notes (Person who requests writes that).

Post all the papers together to :

Our CAIPS can be ordered thru either of the following three [3] methods:

3. From Websites [offering CAIPS Service] --discussed below. Costs $30-40.

@Dreamsca, thank you for your response.

I tried opening that website but it's giving me an error message and doesn't allow me to open it.

And yes, my wife lives in Canada and she could send this Docs to them.
Do you advise to send this to CAIPS and are they going to be helpful??

Look forward to your response.

Cheers

CAIPS Useful for
Preparing for Interview
Learning the Status of your Application
Finding out What Will Happen Next, and When
Detecting and Resolving Processing Errors, With CIC officers processing many hundreds of thousands of visa applications every year, the occasional error does slip in to a CAIPS file. Obtaining your CAIPS file allows you to check your application for such errors or omissions and to resolve them early, rather than them causing delays later on in the process when your visas are ready for issue.

So, you would prefer to order the notes through CAIPS yeah??

ok but do you know how soon we get answer for them if we order it within a week?

Sorry for so many questions!!

Hi Dreamsca,

My case history is like this so far
CPC-M received my case on 6th Jan 2012.
They approved it on 27th Jan 2012 and sent to ND
In my ecas the last and only update is Medical has been received.

I dont know whether they have started processing my case yet or not or they received my full application or not.
So is it a good time to order for a CAIPS?
or is it too early for that?
If I order a Caips is that mean they are going to update me all the time or that is the one time update till then?

My first CAIPS report didn't help me in any respect.

Have ordered for CAIPS again. Almost 30 days over now. Hopefully I will get the report in a couple of weeks.

Will keep you posted.

Regards, KDSTTL
