Oh.....just noticed that they started processing after 1 year ........ :o :o :o

its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. within canada it does take typically 18 months so that could be a long time sitting around and not working. good to know you thought about it and seems you are well prepared. with the new process typically in 80% of the cases ND office will ask for passport up front and could take upwards of 4 months to get it back.

Hi Singhson, I am staying here with visit visa, I left my job in India and came here to live with my wife since last year March. I sent my application to CPC-M because outland process will take shorter time than inland. Inland process takes years, at least 1.5 to 2 years.
I can not afford to remain workless for that long. I cannot work with TRV, which is the reason.

@canadianswife. i will try. lol. i usually, few times a week, skim through the forum on my way to work.

in case you need some urgent help/response just send me a PM as i will get a notice in my email then i can reply sooner vs logging on here

oh yeah, I forgot you had to make a new username. Dude, how is Canada?? How was the landing experience? did you fly direct?
actually twas my wife who was flyin.
her experience was ok. tiring mostly.
she took delhi-london-calgary !
there is direct flight to toronto though.

the immigration stuff at landing is very very smooth. no hassles.
dont have to worry bout that.

Singhson, actually my case is not that straight forward at all. So I don't know how long it will take for me from ND. But definitely it shud be less than inland application. I got step 1 approval on 27th Feb from CPC-M. My ecase states Medical received last week. since then no update. Any idea about the timeline.
