Hi Ajay,

She don't have to fill any form, Just call the MP office and send the email with your case ID and information. Make sure she send your name and her name along with other information. You dont need to sign anything.

Thats totally insane. We are really going through a difficult period here. Only God can help us. I dont know what they are doing with our passports for so long.

I think disappearing addresses do not mean anything. It could be a system glitch.

I guess so but it also means to some extent that they are doing something with our file.

Hi Friends,

I have few questions , If I get any reply on this that would be great.

My case approved by CPC-M on 27th February. It was sent to ND. My Ecase update is showing this.
We received your application for permanent residence on January 6, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

1) What does Medical received means? Does that mean ND received my application too? and they started processing it?

2) I am in Canada right now , So r they going to send me the PPR at Canadian address or Indian address or via email?

Medical means that they have received the results of the medical tests(x-ray and blood tests) done by the physician in India. They cannot send your PPR at your Canadian address nor you can send your passport from any other country other than India.

If you have mentioned your email address in your file then they will send you your ppr request via email otherwise by a mail at your Indian address and you have to be in India to send your passport.

Thanks a lot for reply, I submitted the application from Canada not India. Yes I did mention my email address.
Is Medical received means ND received my full application too and started processing it ?

I think that means they have your full application, did you submit your spouse's police clearance as well? Why did they not mention that? maybe police clearance is done after medical.

I think they send that generic email asking for PP within a month.

Actually I am the applicant my friend. My wife is sponsoring me. I have been living together with my wife since last year March.
Is there anyway that I can inform ND immigration not to send any letter to my home address in India now rather send the letter to me via email?
I have sent my PCC Canada and India and medical together with my application.

Ok, I think they usually ask for PPR even if they are not ready to stamp visa. Maybe in your case you can request them to ask the passport only when they are ready to stamp visa. Otherwise, you may have to wait for months in India for them to return the passport with visa. I think it takes at least 2 months, and in your case, I read that PCC for Canada can take a lot longer to come through.

I have already sent my PCC of Canada and India with my application. I am thinking to stay in Canada till I get the PPR.

Well cricket365, you cannot submit sponsorship application from India and ND visa office does not send any letters to any other countries except Indian, Nepal and Bhutan.

You will get your PPR request through email but u have to mail your passports from india.
