Guys,
My wife received her passport with visa but did not receive any photos, that we sent, in the mail with the passport. Just curious to know if any of you were in the same boat.
Thanks,
Ajay

u may get them back in Canada ... they do post em back to canadian address after scanning etc. if they look like copies of originals they keep them.
u can always call n ask for them.

@mapledreams

Mine too, No photo in Visa

I heard through my personal sources inside the government that they have installed a super dooper machine
which can scan an invisible photo.

Seriously, believe me, there is a photo inside, but is not visible....!!!

@ Siva, I think maple and ajay were talking abt the photos we submitted with our application (wedding, honeymoon etc).
If i'm right, they were not talking abt the photo on the visa, as i have got all my submitted pics back with the visa.

Welcome to Ontario then JP!! I'm in Brampton :)

I need some advice...

In an attempt to keep myself occupied and spend my time usefully, I am planning to take up some academic course of 1-2 months duration now...

If I get my visa in a few days, is there any rule that I have to land in canada within a specified time limit.. if so, what is the limit?

They issue two documents to you

1. COPR - confirming your permanent residency
2, Visa - This is the travel document for you to go to Canada

Spouse Travel visa is for 6 months.
You have to go there within 6 months
if you fail then you may have to apply for a "Travel Document"
however please check the cic website
