issue date is Feb 2, 2012.. The same day when they started processing our application as per ECAS update.

The mailing address was the farthest point of the country you can imagine..It was in Tamilnadu.. she was at her parent's place when I applied..so I had provided that address.....still it took only 2 days...

yes but I got DM on Feb 18... Usually we count days from DM on ECAS..isn't it?

u know what - its possible that they stamp ur visa early on in the - "in process" period. after that they do the paperwork corresponding with immigration authorities back in canada.

cos if the visa stamp says feb 2, that means u got approved on feb 2. simple as that. they wouldnt stamp it until everything was ok with ur application.

gwalyat, does your application status say in process or is it still showing application received?? Is your address showing or is it missing?? When did they start the processing in ND? Hopefully good news awaits for all of us soon for everyone waiting...waiting and still waiting !!

I hope so. I haven't heard anything from ND yet. My address is not showing up and its been vanished for almost 3 weeks now.

Any guesses, why they may call for an interview?

Did you contact the ND office? Does it "In Process" to you. For its still reads as application received and the address is missing for almost 3 weeks now.

Hi ajith111, ours is "In Process" and no I have not yet contacted the ND Office. Our address is missing too.
