OK Guys, someone help me out here

For the Driver's Licence, should my hubby get an Int"l drivers licence from India and get his experience letter??

Help!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, i have some queries related to my PR application, kindly reply

As I'm from Punjab, my hubby sponsored me in October'11. I have submitted my PCC (issued by The Commisioner of Police, Ludhiana) along with my application.
My query is that, i was living at a different address (but in same city) at the time when i was 18. When i was 21 we moved to our new house (in same city).
Now i'm worried that the PCC which i submitted with my application is for the time since i was 21 years old (not since 18 years of my age).
I have submitted my PP to CHC- New Delhi in last week, will they ask me for another PCC (from old address, for 3 years i.e from 18 to 21)?
Kindly give ur views, as i'm very tensed.
Again i'm mentioning that my both addressess are in the same city.

Piya.

I assume he is going to drive in Ontario, so here are the rules:

1. Ask him to bring the India driving license with him.
2. Visit the Service Ontario and write the G1 test.
Before giving the test, they will ask for existing license (if any) and another proof of Id (passport, etc) along with COPR letter.
Mention about the existing Indian driver's license if they didnt ask !

the rule is, after G1, normal applicants should wait for an year to get G2...and after an year they can go for G.
If you go a certified driving school, after 8 months you could take G2 and then after an year you could take G.

If you produce a driver's licence from india, after G1, they could take G2 immediately. The G1 to G2 waiting period is wavered.

If you produce a letter from RTO in India that tells the driver's experience, then entire G2 is also wavered. You could take G directly after writing the written test for G1.

They will ask for the letter from RTO for sure.

I did go through the same process to get my G2, very recently.

If you dont have the letter from RTO, then take the G1 (written test) and then road test for G2 now, and wait one year and take the road test for G.
