here is the correct processing times

74days (for approval ie step 1) + 6 months from the time ND gets the file for 80% of the cases (ie step 2). total time is step 1 + step 2.

Ya, i was talking about the same link singhson posted. I didn't knew it was 2 years old. I thought they update their website regularly. Well, i listen to Eckhart Tolle and Dr. Wayne dyer and i love their speech.

np. i've seen few people go through this process plus i have access to some knowledgeable people and buddy of mine is a MP. so it makes it little easier to pick on tid bits here and there

It is correct, passport returns can take 8-10 days, easily or even more

I am a chennaite too !

How long have you been in Canada ?

I am here since 2007.
Eventhough I am born in Chennai
I belong nowhere!
(13 years All India field work)

The only thing I have in Chennai are 3 college friends (20 yrs!!!)
Other than that I have nothing in Chennai now!

But when i go i always do these things..(with available friends)

1. Tea in கண்ணாடி glass, 2 rs butter biscuit, gold flake filter
2. நெய் தோசை
3. இட்லி வடகறி
4. பூரி கிழங்கு in வண்டிக்கடை
5. 90 cutting in கலீஜ் TASMAC
6. திருப்பி போடாத முட்ட தோசை
7. Triplicane, Beach, Anna Nagar 8th Main Road

Other things I want to do have gone "extinct" in Chennai.

A simple "Nair Kadai" tea standing in the open has never been so pleasurable
after coming to Canada I realize!

Tea Kada "Samosa" I can never get such samosa anywhere in the world
(even in India) my Northi friends never liked it.

But working in the office they got used to it..and some liked it. (I used to work for Ashok Leyland, Field Service)
