Help Every one, need suggestions:

I havn't submit call records, skype screen shots etc at the time of submitting our application @ CPC-M because we stayed together in India for 1 month after our marriage
and we prepared/ready our documents while my spouse was with me in India, and she submitted file @ CPC-M after a week (after landed in Canada) and she don't had any communication proofs at that time.
Now i want to upload these proofs.
My query is, should i submit the proofs or wait until VO asks for the same?

Hi there,

The VO will not ask for any relationship proof. The onus is on the applicant to send them quality proof. In case they are not satisfied with your relationship, they will call you for an interview. What is your timeline? Have you gotten your file no. already? In case, you do, then you can send your relationship proof now quoting your file no.

Write a cover letter explaining that you are sending updated relationship proof. Dont make the letter too long. Just to the point. Dont forget to mention your File no, Applicant's name, DOB & address. Courier everything to this address:

Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath
Chanakyapuri,
110021, New Delhi

All the best.

2 months seems to be an average time for ND people to make a decision these days...I believe it is the minimum time taken by them if your case is very straight forward and interview has been waived. ( straight forward in eyes of the officer not the applicant ;) ;))

For me a straight forward case is - an arranged marriage held with all traditions and rituals (enough photos of which attached as a proof), same religion/cast/nationality, not much age difference, No travel history, not much difference in the education level, enough evidences of genuine relationship enclosed with the application.

Now this is just my opinion and any deviation from above mentioned criteria does not necessarily mean that your application will definitely take longer then usual time but these cases demand more scrutiny as an immigration officer.

I agree with you Kuku, however, let me tell you, a few years ago, they black listed a few banquet halls. If you had marriage or reception at any of them, they will straight way reject. The reason was there were a few fake marriages going on at those marriage palaces. Same Mama, chacha, uncle, aunty etc... in all marriages. Looks like they had people on payroll to attend weddings as relatives. So any marriage done in thos halls were straight way rejected by CHC and others.

So, its not that simple that if its arranged marriage and enough photos, its straight forward. They do need to be satisfied that its genuine marriage and you are gonna live together.

I am not sure what is the status of those marriage palaces now at CHC. I am very positive most of them were in Ludhiana and Jalandhar Diust. I hope people unknowingly have not created peoblem for themself.

Good Luck everybody!

yeah siva ! 8 yrs ! long time :D !
known each other since forever !

Yes its long time. But get this, I lived with my wife 4 years before and 5 years after marriage, same relegion, still they rejected saying we are not compatible... lol... ya right, thats why we lived together for 8 years. 100s of photos to prove indoor and outdoor activity together were submitted including picnics, family functions, camping, travel etc.. Even ADR people were surprised that how someone can reject this.

Nothing is guranteed at CHC. No one knows what comes in VO's mind and on what point they can reject. Its 110% upto them.

Anyways I am back in Canada and with my wife now. However, they have taken away 2 golden years of my life for no reason which can never be compensated.

That's sad!! Im so glad you are with your wife now. Wow, so many years of togetherness and the idiots still reject it. That's bizarre to beat all bizarres!! :o

The user that applied for the TRV, keep us updated with the results, I'm curious about this one!
I heard it's a very slim chance that you do get it. You have to convince the officer that you will gp back to your country once your visa is done, but that's hard to do when your spouse lives there!!! :P
