it is still a mystery !!! Many theories have been produced...

One acceptable theory is - There is some update on your file and officers do not you to change your address during that time so it vanishes and comes back when update is made.

The theory will be named as "Siva Med-Add Theory"
I have applied patent for it and also the Noble prize people want to give me..

In 4 years in Canada
First time I went to Vancouver (from Calgary -> Penticton)

Due to my nature of business I had to travel to almost all places
Richmond, Surrey, New West Minster, Delta (that is where my equipment is in the docks)

Finally I had to go to Langley.

My personal experience in that short time with Vancouver was "unfriendly" to strangers (most of the times)
Yes I had some really good people helped me occasionally and was nice to me.

But some people were so "off"
It might be the "big city" syndrome.

I like Calgary better, got used to it to maybe or maybe I am not the "Big city type" (being from Chennai)
Maybe people from New Delhi, Mumbai can accept Vancouver very well.

I doubt people from Kolkata or Chennai may take some time to set to Vancouver.

Its all personal experience.

Maybe the address vanishing and reappearing again is Just a glitch in their system? But I like the theory of how they are updating your file, and don't want you to change it in the process of the update. Anyone going in for an interview should ask them why this happens.

Anyway know why it takes ND 6 months? Like why 6 months? How did they come up with that number? Why not 2 months? Or 4 months? Or 5 months like china.

Off subject topic: I'm so glad Christmas is over!!!! My work was crazy busy with crazy shoppers! I even had an indian man come in, first and worst experience with him. He actually put me to shame, the way he behaved! I even started talking to him
In Hindi to calm him down, but that didn't work, he kept yelling (for no reason, very stupid reason). Being a manager, I was trying to help him and solve the issue, but he just didn't want to be helped! I was embarrassed knowing that he's an indian behaving the way he was! And I hate to say this, he was the worst experience I had at my work this holiday, out of all the crazy people! And kali's can get very crazy, so u can imagine how bad that situation was.

December 29th 2011 - 6 months processing time ends
Why the delay in sending the visa? Why has ND kept my passport for over 4 months? I'm married to a white Canadian national. Sent all the proof of relationship. Why the delay then? Someone please help!

Have you ever been to Canada or any other country before?

If "yes" then it is the most common reason - " background check" for the delay..

Second ( please do not get offended), if you are an Indian married with white Canadian National, they would like to scrutinize the case in detail just to figure it out that it is not the "marriage of convenience".. Again no offense intended..

Chances are high that you might get an interview but as you are almost approaching your time limit, interview might have been waived..I am not sure on this one...

In last but not the least ND office is the most inconsistent on following the time line set by themselves..
