Aman, It is not possible for you to have a client id. You will only get Client ID once you get a PR. I think you are referring to File number. If you are using a client ID to check status then that belongs to your sponsor.

Yup, that includes everything. You are all covered.

@ amira

spousal application needs medical to be done before you mail your application and has to be included with your file. It is one of the documents needed to complete the application package.

The DMP sends it to Delhi and gives a section A of the report to the applicant. If you notice there is a bar code on that receipt. So once you get the sponsorship approval and your file gets transferred to ND they can trace the medical report with that bar code. Just a matter of seconds for them..So do not worry about it.

Good luck

Hello, kuku:

After reviewing CIC's website, I thought that aside from passport photocopies and photos, all my fiance needs to take to the appt is this form: Appendix C of the country-specific instructions for India: cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3904E.PDF. And I thought the doctor would have blank copies of Sections A to E of the medical form report to use - we don't have this ourselves as we haven't applied yet. Is my understanding right about the above?

The problem is that when we contacted the Lilavati Hospital in Bombay to set up an appt, they asked us to bring a letter from the Canadian embassy - could you suggest what this might be? We requested a confirmation that they'd give us Section A of the form to attach to the immigration application but they didn't address that part of our query.

If anyone has done their medicals at the Lilavati Hospital, could you let me know how it went? Did they follow the required procedures and use the correct forms? The entire process and requirements seem so complicated, I don't want to trip ourselves up by making a mistake and wasting time.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
