Still nothing on our end either - the wait is getting frustrating... 2 months gone now since PPR (Sept 13) and still no updates, not even "in process" yet We keep hoping something happens soon, we really want/need to get this visa done by the end of Dec at the latest, and it's getting closer and closer. I'm getting close to sending ND an email, but I keep telling myself something is just about to happen.

Shamsia - nice to hear about your PPR, I've been watching for your updates because we're on a very similar timeline. Did they say exactly when the PPR was sent in Sept?

Hi there, hope you hear from them soon. He just mentioned September, just sad to know that I would have gotten the visa by now if I had gotten that letter He said they are ready to issue the visa once they recieve the RPRF and the passport. Chalo, everything happens for a reason and always for the best

Can someone pls tell me if ND sends ppr through regular mail or courier or any other means? Im hoping to backtrack my ppr letter which was apparently sent to me in September.

my timeline is as follows..
application received by ND on 26th july
ppr received on 9th september
pp sent on 14th sep...
status changed to DM on 10th nov..
the status change comes as a relieve but i m still anxious... coz they had my pp for quite sometime now...
I hope all the others will have good news soon toooo!!!!!

You got it! Congratulations!

Don't worry about the fact that they had your PP for a while, during the process of pr at the local VO, they either ask for it right at the beginning and then do the reviews and final decision (in your case, that's what they did) and just send it out when the visa is issued. In other cases, they do the reviews, then the final decision, and then they as for PP.

Sorry - ours came regular mail, and from what I've heard, I think that's generally the way they work. Certainly not couriers etc as standard practice, and I don't even think it's SpeedPost or registered mail etc - just plain vanilla (easy to lose) regular post. See what you can find, good luck!

Exciting to hear that they said your visa was ready for issue once they get your passport - hopefully that's a good sign for us too!

Just a little longer, you're almost there now!
