once u reach canada PR card would be shipped to u automatically on the address provided either on COPR or telling it to immigration officer at canada.
41 business days is the time

what was the reason that they took 5 months for issuing you visa ??

ND is not very good at updating eCAS status..mine still shows "In Process" and VISA
was issued on Sept 28 and we received it on Octovber 7. I'm sure they'll change it to
decision made soon. It has happened to some other ppl in this forum.

It took that long cuz they thought that they dont have my wife's medicals but medicals
were delivered to ND by the hospital so my wife went there and was somehow let inside
and they realized that they actually have our medicals so i guess they started working
on our file then. It's a shame that they stopped those in person enquiries cuz thats
what got our file some traction.

You should send anoher enquiry from your MP.

COOL is right, no need to apply for PR.

you do not need to apply for the First PR Card... It automatically starts processing as soon as you land here !!! Immigration officer at your port of entry will do necessary paper work , take a photo and applicant's signature....and it will be mailed to the given address in around 41 days which is the current processing time.

hi... welcome to thread..

first of all please share your time lines and tell us about your case lil bit...
you six month processing time is also done...so what you think why its taking this much time..??
after passport request you can get back your passport with visa stamp after 45 days..
they receive medical in initial stage of your case...
whats your ECAS status??

no bro my wife calling one ..but he is not available till 13th .so she will try when he comes on 13th or after...

Well My ecas shows its still in process from march onwards its shows the message like this.
My husband has filed my application in Canada on Jan 18 2011
11 Feb - Application accepted by missisuaga and forward my case to New Delhi
21 Feb - Application recd by ND
24 Mar - Nd started processing my case

after i dont receive any updates on my case, then in sept i personally went to new delhi embassy , then they said that "ur medical report is not there with us"
then i have re do my medical and submitted on 21 sep 2011

after that i m waiting....till date i dont recd any update of my case
On site its already written that u can not enquiry before ur porcessing time, thats y we dint enquired about our case.

now how much time it will take i dont know..??/
