Yes SO I talked to my husband about the interview heres how it went
When the interview started the lady asked him if he could speak english, and to introduce himself.
-Formal introduction...like Name, Age, Wifes Name, Date of marriage. she just wanted to hear him speak english thats what he told me.
- He did the rest of the interview in Punjabi.
- Asked why the marriage rounds werent in the same city close to the palace? ( we went to a gurdwara that was 45 min away from the wedding palace that was located whhere my village was) she asked the name of the gurdwara aswell.
- Where does your wife work? what does she do?
Where does your Mother In Law work?
What does your Fatherinlaw do?
How many siblings does your spouse have?
what is there age? what grade are they in? what is there names?
Where did your spouse work before her current job?
Who was present at your wedding?
Was your father in law there? ( dad came week before wedding)
Where did you go for honeymoon?
Where did you go for outtings?
Who went with you?
what movies did you watch? ( we wrote we went to the theatre)
What places did you exactly go in jalandhar?
We had a picture of us hugging...she asked who took the picture?
and he told her his sisiter, and she said that cant be..he said we are very open and our relationship is open in our house.
she asked him my phone numbers?
and my email adress?
if he had a computer at his house?
he wrote me some poems in english..and emailed me. she asked who wrote these? and he told her he did..she had a doubt so she gave him a pen paper and told him to write one on the spot..he told her it takes time. she asked why the spelling was perrfct he said its called word spell check.
when did your spouse leave india?
how often do you two speak?
does your spouse go to college? why not?
what is your spouses future career plan?
She did phone me after interviewing him and asked me questions from my previous post...to clarify things she asked him
she told him she will approve the application, and they have to do some backround checks now. she kept 2 photos and gave the rest back.
and that was it.
he was confident, and he told her he loves me alot. I am so happy and glad and thank god everything went perfect.

She had one of the first interviews in the morning. She was asked about 30-40 questions and the interview lasted about 30 mins. She was asked to leave the interview room and then she was called back in. Then they announced that we accept your application despite the 12 year age difference and a huge difference in educational background. Lots of questions about her first marriage as well. My wife doesn't remember most of the questions, unfortunately. But some dealth with their concerns.
I figure ND would have a lot of concerns so I spent the 2 weeks
getting her prepared. I decided not to go to Delhi. It was pretty much
impossible for me to get time off to go. I didn't get a call from ND either.

His interview lasted ~ 10 minutes. They asked basic questions about me. eg Where do I work? For how long? My job before? What I do? They also asked why we didn't get married a long time ago. And they asked something about why I married him, weird? At the end of the interview, they gave him back the pictures I submitted in the application and told him he would receive his passport in the mail.
They never called me.

Interview........: June-28-2011
VISA ISSUED...: July-05-2011
My husband said it was a very light discussion..with the VO being an Indian Man..
He's asked a questions specifically related our case...and also general q's like, how did u meet ur wife...when did u get married...where did u study...etc ...the interview lasted for abt 40 mins...
He'd showed pics and asked to identify who was in it..but over all my husband said the VO loosened a bit and it was more like having a casual conversation.
At the end he's said' I apprv ur application...I can see that you both are in love'!
The concerns were really specific to my case...but I don't mind sharing it.
This is what it said
1. The applicant(A)(my husband) is a yr younger than the sponsor(S) –This is unusual
2. First marriage for the A and second for the S- This is unusual
3. A's parents and sister didn't attend the wedding, this being the first marriage in the family- This is unusual
4. Sister didn't attend the wedding, despite being in USA(marriage took place in USA) -This is unusual
5. It is unusual for A to get married when there is an unmarried elder sister
6. The Application was filed after 5 mnths of S's return to Canada- This is unusual
7. A had previous TRV and Student visa refusals
My husband did ask the VO how long it will take for the BC, and contradicting to what we discussed on the forum, the VO has mentioned that if you travel frequently then they don't bother so much with a serious background check and that they also take in to consideration your educational qualifications and profession when they start a BC.

Interview........: 30-03-2011 (Passed and approved same day)
VISA ISSUED...: 04-04-2011 (Received 09-04-2011)
So the interview went like this:
You get to the embassy and you check in, it can't be more than 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. You need id. Once you check in, you go through security then you register at the reception and wait. We waited maybe 15 minutes, then they called my husband's name to go to a certain interview room. He went in alone.
It was a white canadian woman who interviewed him. She was friendly he says and asked him if he wanted his interview in English, French, Hindi or Punjabi. He thought this was a test (I dont speak anything but English or French), so he chose English She started right away and told him to ask her if he didnt understand. She then asked him if he understood her and he said yes.
She asked him only about 10 questions.
1) where we met
2) how we met
3) did we get married in his village
4) when did he come to India, back from Greece
5) is he still working n Greece
6) Where do I work
7) Where do I go to school
How many people were at our reception
9) Does he have additional proof with him (she didnt look at it though)
10) Where do I work (she repeated this question) I think it was because I work for the Canadian government so she wanted to make sure she understood him.
The whole interview was about 15 minutes max 20. She then told him she would be giving him the visa, it would come by mail She gave him all the pictures and phone cards back that we submitted and he was done. They didnt interview me at all, he did tell her I was there but I didn't get interviewed. And that was it, simple, painless and out we went.
Thank you to everyone who was and has been a support to me. I am gonna stay active on the forum to support you all through the process. May you all get visa soon. Cheers

my interview was a bit long ....it was scheduled at 9.00 am but i got interviewed at 10.45. so i would suggest go early even if the letter says dont come earlier than 45 min. cause there were people whose interview time was 9.00 but were done before 9.00. anyways about the interview plz plz make sure u r calm n confident. the lady who interviewed me made me feel comfortable and so m guessing they all are like that. As i was living in canada for last 5 years and i came in may and we got married in dec/2010. she asked me questions like why did i apply under this category , y not skilled , was i not able to get a job etc... pointing the reason that did i get married for PR. so i answered her that i had job offers and stuff with proof and the reason i did this cause its faster way to get PR thn other classes, then she aked me to show all the proofs i had for our relationship. i showed her email pics and phones bills since 2005 since we started dating. and after that she told me that she had no more questions and she will approved the file.
so cut to the chase...they want to make that u didnt get married for PR and u guys love each other for a while now.
frankly i was very nervous before the interview but as soon as i entered the building i was fine. and if u know ur wife well than u dont have to worry. she asked me no questions about my wife , she didnt even call her. so dont prepare too much.
just go with lots of confidence and only answer whats being asked. look them in the eye when to talk to them.
